|| Honestly, this is going to be long, but Nina's treatment towards Alisa in T6 is a conversation that should definitely be had.

Because sincerely, you can't tell me that Nina didn't subtly take out her resentment towards how she's been treated over the years on Alisa, specifically in the case of how she & Jin treated her in T6.

Like take a second.. Imagine this: You've unwillingly undergone a multitude of horrors in your life with the sole purpose of others wanting to turn you into this emotionless super weapon. You're described as "emotionless", "apathetic", "heartless", and "robotic" almost on a daily basis. — Then you meet this girl, this actual robot, not only seemingly capable of expressing more emotion than you ; an actual human being, but she was ordered to be built to do your job by your boss - arguably your closest friend - without him telling you a single word about it.

( Which, don't forget we've seen hints in the Titan comics how Nina feels about Jin hiring others to do her job: )

Then if that's not enough, add in the fact that the cryogenics research you were forced to take part in, the cryotube you were trapped in for nearly two decades? They never would have existed if it hadn't been for Bosconovitch wanting to resurrect the original human version of this girl.

Alisa's existence in itself is practically a huge slap in the face towards Nina. — On the surface you have this woman made to feel like nothing more than an emotionless weapon for a majority of her life, seemingly having no qualms with treating another girl the same way - as a super weapon ; as a tool. You would think she'd oh idk...say something to Jin about this plan of his?? Anything?? But no, in fact she seems to even smirk as they use her to distract Lars.

In her mind Alisa is an actual robot, and nothing more. Treating an actual robot this way is only fair, because thinking of her as anything more forces her to face all of the resentment she's buried over the years. It forces her to face the fact that yeah, even she at times is not above kinda childish jealousy - similar to the jealousy she judges her sister for.

In contrast to others on the roster, not once has Nina even bothered to call Alisa by name, whenever she actually addresses her it's always the same:

❄️- Among the 3 factions of the Tekken force in Tekken 6, Nina's was probably on the smaller side compared to the other two, if only because she was the most strict of who she took in. Given her cynical views on most men, while there definitely were still a large number in her faction, hers likely lead in the percentage of women on the force. (Also unless somehow someday someone decides to write her & state otherwise, I absolutely headcanon the scrapped concept character "Zoey" was one of her soldiers - if you want her on your team you'll have to fight Nina, I don't make the rules) ❄️- Depressing af, but if you were to show Nina video of her from the first two tournaments or prior, she'd just... feel numb. She's almost completely disassociated herself from who she once was prior to her amnesia, the experiments and being brainwashed. She might not even use "I" observations. — Show her video of her from the third tournament and she wouldn't be able to sit through the whole thing. Not saying a word as she calmly just stands up and leaves the room. 😔 ❄️- Also kinda sad. But to dive deeper into my headcanon that Nina isn't typically a fan of sweets, it's not necessarily that if offered she wouldn't like them? It's more so Richard probably disapproved of them and most other joyful childish things like Santa Claus or amusement parks, etc. while she was growing up, and she still subconsciously carries that cynical negative impression with her. – I mean this is the same guy who had his child go through emotional suppression experiments along with rigorous training. While I'm sure there were few times when the two were allowed to be kids - they watched cartoons, they probably had toys - their childhood was very rigid and there was a lot they didn't get to experience. Add into account how unhealthy sweets can be, and you know they were highly restricted / frowned upon. And taking into consideration how much Nina looks up to her father... enough said. 😔 ❄️- ^ On a happier note however, bc of that, if someone she cares about were to gift her something sweet or something she might deem childish like a stuffed animal, she is definitely the type to act unimpressed, while later if you're lucky you might just find she secretly kept it anyhow. ❄️- I feel like if Nina watches crime shows or podcasts, it's on days where she hasn't executed a hit in a while, and she does nothing but pinpoint the killer right away, and critique their actions. Judging why they chose to kill, every mistake the killer made along the way? Yeah she's catching them, she's judging, she's sipping her 4th cup of tea for the day. ☕️ ❄️- Also you didn't hear it from me, but the secret to Nina's evil mist attacks? Dissolvable capsules under her tongue. 😶

Hello lovely! This blog is an indie, 18+ only, semi canon divergent, crossover friendly, multiship & multiverse rp sideblog for the one and only Ice Cold Assassin ; Nina Williams of the Tekken series and Death By Degrees.

As of 2024, there are 10+ verses available on here for Nina, and If you don't see one you like I'm always willing to discuss more! My main verse portrayal of Nina sticks mostly to Tekken canon, with added tidbits from Death By Degrees, the Tekken Titan Comics and headcanons here and there.  — Besides possible icons here and there, Tekken Bloodline, the 1997 motion picture and the cursed live action movies are not considered canon to my portrayal and I’d appreciate all of them being kept as far away from me as possible thank you.

Mature topics will be featured on this blog, including smut here and there, but please know that is not the main focus of this blog. How do you feel about the fact that Xiaoyu beat Nina in Bloodlines?

Not happy. 🙃 How they completely disregarded Nina's important T3 plot aside. Listen, I love Xiaoyu, while I do wish she'd have a plotline where she can stand on her own and it's not related to chasing Jin already bc boi does she deserve it, she's still a Queen in her own right. — But frankly speaking? That entire episode was a disgrace to Nina's whole character.

Here you have Nina Williams, known for her cold and detached, merciless personality. Temper? Near nonexistent. – So how can you tell me she would ever let her near nonexistent temper get the better of her and control her actions in a fight?

Better yet, here you have one of the top 8 fighters in the world, hired fatal assassin, this would've been her third tournament she participated in. – How are you going to tell me that she gets beat by a high schooler who's seemingly never been in a professional tournament in her life? In the first round?????

And then the cherry on top : we never see her again. We never see Nina Williams, arguably Tekken's leading lady, in the series again.

So yeah. Mad at Bloodline, mad at Harada, mad at Murray, mad at almost everyone involved w Bloodlines creation, and if there isn't some form of redemption for this in T8 it'll be ugly. (As in I will probably ugly cry) 💔

𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒏 𝑸𝒖𝒆𝒆𝒏'𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒂𝒍✲・*:･ﾟ :

First, I have mixed feelings about her design. In general I mostly like it, but I am very curious about the implications behind it. Mainly how the new hairstyle, the style of the dress and the fishnet stockings definitely give more Anna vibes than Nina. It's a very odd mix of Anna vibes and Nina's cocktail dress from DBD vibes? Thus I am very curious about what the new look may be foreshadowing with her and Anna's relationship in T8. — It could either be another case of Nina did something horrible and is pulling another wedding dress stunt - or, depending on what Anna's new design may be, it could be a case of maybe by some miracle the sisters are finally starting to put themselves in each others shoes and see each others perspectives.

It’s a small detail and probably doesn’t mean much, but I also find the gold accents interesting. Canon outfits wise and other than T5, after T1 we’ve really only ever seen Nina with silver accents.

If there's one thing I don't like about her new design, it's the fringe on her dress, and the fact that now muses that ship w her won't be able to make her blush by freeing her hair from her ponytail 🥺💔 (at least in her T8 verse). Like that's one of the biggest things she's soft to no wonder she cut it. 😔💔 – As for the awkward fringe on her dress, I feel like making her outfit either a simple shorter cocktail dress or a top & skirt / shorts would've been far better? Or hell just keep the long dress and get rid of the fringe, it bugs me way more than it should omg.

But also JUSTICE FOR NINA'S BANGS 2K23 FINALLY 😭💜💜💜💜 As someone who highly prefers a side part herself, I can not tell you how many times I've wished Nina would switch to one but I didn't think it would ever happennnn. I'm loving it for herrr.

I am also absolutely in love with how they're letting our fatal Queen use her weapons 😭💜 Her new rage art is perfection ✨

I got my wish of Mary returning to voice Nina yet again 🥺💜 With how busy she's been w tlovm and no doubt probably other projects, one of my biggest concerns was she wouldn't be available this time around and I am so glad that concern can now be put to rest.

I'm also very curious about how they chose a stage set seemingly close to a Zaibatsu facility to portray her in? It could be nothing, just a matter of them wanting to show off that stage, but it really has me thinking about where she might stand on the whole Zaibatsu vs G-Corp vs Yggdrasil thing now. – Someone else on twitter pointed out the fact that she's fighting Lars in half of her trailer might indicate she's still against Yggdrasil? But idk if I 100% believe that or not. – The always amazing and wonderful @teslagravity pointed out her new ending w the helicopter is very reminiscent of her ending with Anna from Tag 2 which just further has me speculating both of their current stances in this war.

But overall I am hella hype. Hella excited. The new look is going to take some getting used to for sure, but I am so looking forward to where things might be going for our Queen 💜💜💜

Still not quite sure about what I may do for a T8 verse quite yet since what Nina's up to was kept pretty vague in her trailer. But I do want to work on progressing things a little bit instead of just waiting for more info. I'll likely be sticking with my after T7 - pre-T8 main verse for now, just starting to lean closer to T8 timeline wise unless a interaction calls for otherwise.
