one thing I have been learning watching the glee over the panic ChatGPT created and sustains is that some people are just bitter as all hell that they can’t write and that they did poorly in school

#and listen #I too am bitter about my life and I am disappointed with how it turned out #but that doesn’t mean you get to take it out on everyone else #all this as though somewhere some cruel 7th grade English teacher is like #‘ah now that this computer can write as well as a mediocre high schooler who can’t be bothered to do actual work #‘I feel terrible that I was so mean to Jessica back in 2007 for botching that creative writing assignment’#‘I now see that I am a fascist for having standards and that this system is cruel’#‘can they ever forgive me??’
