Guess who is back
And I'm again with some Sfv refs!!
Here are some refs for names in School for vampires that are connected w literature:
•Flestcher Stoker. Kinda obvious for ones who are interested in gothic literature: Bram Stoker, the author of "Dracula" (1987)
•Paulus Polidori/Sunshine Polidori. John William Polidori, the English writer who is known for his book "The Vampyre" (1819).
Also this book is considered to be the first book in which we can see the modern image of a vampire and the first book book about vampires in English.
Funfact: Mary Shelley was writing "The Frankenstein" at the same time. She was travelling with G.G. Byron and J. Polidori. They read some stories about ghosts and they decided to write something creepy by themselves . The idea of "The vampyre" was originally Byron's but he lost interest in writing it. So he retold his concept to Polidori who breathed the life in it.

Rating sfv parings
Gothetta/Leechy
This one is very cozy. I know a lot of people do not like this one and do not like Leechy at all but I like him. He is cute and they progressively become closer in the show. They have like besties dynamics which is adorable. Besties to couple is a very cool trope!
They have a lot in common: they both like science, they even share a lab together. I think Leechy is the only person in that castle with whom she can have really smart convos. They hang out together even in the show so that's not my headcanon.
Leechy does some stupid shit during the show but I'm his advocate forever. He acts very mentally ill and very autistic. Also he is a kid. Ik he tries his best to fit in and to be accepted.
He obv needs some help
Also I feel like he is such a loverboy :) I think he would be a gentle partner.
They too need some growth to make it work so I headcanon them dating in their like 15-16

Gothetta/Stoker
I like this one! Kinda hate when people romanticise Flestcher as some daddy but apart of this I do feel the tension between them. I feel like they need some time, I can see them together in their like 16/17.
I believe Gothetta has terrible daddy issues so she would fall for that bastard and this kind of approvement no matter she wants to or not. Also I headcanon that they have kinda similar mental problems.
From Stoker's perspective, I headcanon that he has terrible mommy issues (daddy issues too) so he would fall for this mean treatment from Gothetta. He would fall for smart, powerful woman who wouldn't tolerate his shit.
Gothetta would be affected to his anger and his weakness because of her dad. She obv has some savior complex an addition to it.
I think that would be passionate, kinda toxic but it could work out. They need to put a lot of effort to this tho. I think they could have a lot of fun together and heal each other.
I kinn they both so this headcanon is dear to me haha. Flestcher is clearly in love w her in the show( who wouldn't).
Gothetta deserves better anyways
