She’s immortal, all thanks to a wish made to Ho-Oh in a moment of panic and complete despair. While she can be killed, she will eventually be reborn from the ashes, just like a phoenix.

She used to be a Kimono Girl, back in [REDACTED]. She still thinks that her former position as a priestess is what allowed her to have a strong bond with Ho-Oh to begin with

She leads a little group of thugs specifically created to protect her. She calls them body guards, they consider themselves mercenaries.

However, Soraya can battle for herself, if necessary. She’s not a good fighter when it comes to hand-to-hand, but she’s very capable when it comes to Pokèmon fights. Plus, her aim is dangerously precise and she may or may not have a revolver in her handbag.

About that, she outlived most of her Pokèmon of course, and that... always hurt. She barely made human friends and never had a family outside them, so letting go of them always stings.

While she had some flings, Soraya has never been in a relationship. She still resents the husband that was forced on her, and so far nobody made her change her mind on marriage.

Her position in the Sylph Co. is more of a hobby than an actual job, for her. It might be a high position, but she knows that compared to an eternity a few decades in there aren’t much.

She has a somewhat okay relationship with a few Champions, mostly when it comes to smaller Regions. She’s sent to make deals with them personally, after all.

About that, she’s planning to try taking the Champion title, eventually. Just another thing she thinks would be fun to test out, since she has plenty of time for that.

Her biggest wish now would be letting go of immortality. She had enough. She’s satisfied.
