no matter how much i pretend to be a literature snob that exclusively reads kafka, camus and other classics, i just started re-reading good omens for the first time since i was 13 and all i can say is that it still slaps and that i just read 70 pages in one sitting
#good omens#oh my god the drunk scene made me cry from laughter#the full dialogue about the animals was hilarious i had forgotten that it was a lot longer than in the series#also this book is just a lot funnies in lithuanain generally speaking#although it does bother me that they traslated crowleys name to šliaužas and kept it after the name change#šliaužas literally translates to crawly/crawler and it sounds rather silly#idk i think it would make more sense if the translator had translated his name phonetically rather than directly#like idk they couldve just put a stress symbol when he was introduced and then when he changed his name#so it would be like kráulis and then after the name change it would be kraûlis (pretend the ^ is a ~ lmao)
