❝I’ll come with you.❞ While concerned about what could be in the hidden basement (the possibilities he listed were unlikely, given how insulated it was in comparison to other basements, yet they couldn’t be entirely out-ruled), she wasn’t as though she had been frightened. It was simply just... an odd sound.

Like... something rustling and tearing, almost.

Taiko hadn’t been down there for several months at this point, though that wasn’t unusual either. Generally it was to dust it, make sure that the supplies were still good for use, and see that it was well conditioned. Tugging on the floor panel of the living room that seemed blend in in thanks to the carpet, she’d glance up to Hytherm. ❝Should I leave the light off, just in case it is an animal?❞ If there was a animal, it’d be hard to convince it that they meant no harm if it was already frightened.

Having just finished showering and drying off, the seer had just returned to the bedroom without realizing that Hytherm wasn’t outside. Even after all this time, he still never really tried to look at her without her clothing on... though Taiko could see slits of white peeking through the fingers, despite him covering his (blushing) face.

❝It’s okay to look if you’d like to, love,❞ she’d tell him gently as she moved further into the room, the door closed behind herself. ❝I just forgot to grab something to get dressed in before showering.❞

❝Not bad at all.❞ The emperor had an slightly amused smile as he relaxed his stance - while not one to have a sparring partner of any kind, preferring to do things on his own, he thought of this as an opportunity to shape the ancient Frost Demon closer to his own standards. The army still was in the process of being shaped up to his standards, so why leave things to chance?

Feeling charitable, a hand was extended to the downed Hytherm, pulling him back onto his feet after that hesitation that perhaps anyone would have to being offered a hand. In comparison in terms of exhaustion, it’s clear that Frieza certainly had the advantage - a result of experience, however.

Perhaps he applied more force than was necessary, making the other stumble into him. They were actually about the same height, so he realized in that little moment when his lips had ended up against the cheek of the other until they regained their balance - a mere accident that he won’t bring up.

❝I seem to keep forgetting my own strength,❞ he would say with a would-be chuckle, immediately letting go of the hand now that the other found balance. ❝Perhaps we shall do this again next week from now, but I’m certain that you have lessons to attend to with Berryblue.❞

Oh, she knew she never needed some magic force to get any kind of kiss or affection from her mate, but it’s one she felt safest to ‘command’. Yet she still could enjoy the tender kiss Hytherm gave her, quite content to be in his embrace and comfortable with his tail wrapped around her leg.

Taiko would giggle softly when the kiss would eventually end. ❝Just like you don’t ever need to magically compel me to show you affection,❞ she said affectionately.

It’s not rare at all for Hytherm to kiss her, yet Taiko always seem to gain a little blush whenever his lips touched her own. The Namekian was more than happy to return it however, gently touching her fingers to his cheek as she did so. Afterwards, all she would do was touch her forehead to his, smiling giddily.
