Kitten update: we have a home for Meggie!

This is bittersweet for me, because Meggie is one of my extra special little buggers who I gave extra attention and care to because 1. for the first threeish months of her life she was one of the littlest kittens, and 2. because she is prone to depression due to a sensitive purrsonality.

But! At the same time I have been super anxious about finding her a good home BECAUSE of her very sensitive/clingy(affectionate) purrsonality. She is the SWEETEST lil baby you will ever meet, hardly ever causes trouble, LOVES to snuggle, will run up and hug your leg, pats you when she wants attention... she is such a sweet baby girl. But she NEEDS a LOT of attention to keep her feeling mentally good and happy and I often despaired of finding someone able to give that to her.

The best part about this, however, and the reason it works is: Meggie is going to live with Ellie! Ellie went to her new home last weekend and her new family loves her so much they wanted a playmate for her and decided to get another kitten from us! We sent them pictures/a description of Meggie and they decided they wanted her. This is purrfect, because Ellie will have someone to take care of and Meggie will have a constant companion who won't overshadow her (since Ellie is a pretty chill kitten). Which means that Meggie won't be sad and get depressed from being left alone because she'll always have her big cousin with her!

I am still very sad that she'll be leaving, because I love her and am very attached to all the babies, but especially the ones I worked extra hard to give happy, healthy kittenhoods to. But I know she'll be going somewhere good with kind people who love cats and already love Ellie to pieces.

I'll be leaving in about an hour to take Meggie to her new home. She's snuggled on my bed with me now with Madia and Violet.
