HI so I have incoherent thoughts right now!

Joe and Oli but they’re the bards from Something Rotten.

Joe is Shakespeare and Oli is Nick Bottom. Or maybe the other way around I’ve only ever listened to two of the songs from the musical

I really like the idea that story-wise Joe becomes the more popular poet/bard in Empires and Oli gets pissed because of it- “a mediocre actor from a measly little town is suddenly the brightest jewel in englands royal crown” IT FITS OKAY

I’ve had Thoughts about Joe and Something Rotten before and this collab is bringing it all back
