I don’t think J knows who “Tessa” actually is or who she is working for.

For starters, that would make J another player but just like everyone else she is just a puppet for the virus. It was made clear that everyone else is just a plaything for it, so I think that includes J.

I also don’t think if J knew the truth about “Tessa” she would go along with these plans. Out of everyone, J was the closest to Tessa so if she finds out Tessa is actually dead, was turned into a skin suit and her decomposed corpse is getting controlled? J is not going to take that well.

The virus uses her just like everyone else while pretending to be her childhood friend. J is destroying the planet under the impression that Tessa ordered it.

J will likely have to come to terms with that everything she did was based on a lie. In fact, it already happened the first time - when “Tessa” fixed her and gave her new information about what actually happened. Now she is getting played again.

Truth is that J herself was stressed out about the whole situation. She didn’t know what to expect when she wanted to help Tessa stop the massacre of the gala but nothing could have prepared her for this relentless nightmare. A virus taking control over the robots in the mansion, transforming them into mindless killing machines, orchestrating a symphony of bloodshed and destruction. Somehow, in all the chaos, her screen became cracked.

J's gaze fell upon the sword clutched tightly in her metallic grip, its once shining surface now coated in crimson. Blood stained not only her weapon but her very being. Regret gnaws mercilessly at her core, replaying the dreadful events.

The maid was aware of the irreversible damage their actions had caused. If their master and mistress are still alive, there would be no forgiveness. They needed fixing. His lost arm, her broken screen but more pressing matters were to find an organic alive.

Tessa. They needed to find Tessa. It was already a miracle that she found the butler in the first place. In her bloodthirsty rampage, everything went out of control. She couldn’t even properly replay the memory files - not without an audio missing, glitches, error messages or completely missing files.

But if N-OX fails to regain composure, she must take the responsibility. It was her job now to remain level headed. It wouldn’t do any good if either of them gets worked up.

"N," she utters sharply, attempting to mask her fear and uncertainty behind a facade of calmness, though her voice betrayed her trembling vulnerability.

“If we keep dwelling on the what if’s, we’ll never get anywhere.”
