        “Is it?” Bedivere replies before his mind catches back up with him.  “Ah- my apologies,” he rubs the bridge of his nose with his left hand.  “I had thought it was communal.”  Returning, his hands fidget in front of the coffee maker, a few mugs already discarded to the sink along with their burnt residue.

       “Here,” he hands the bag of coffee grounds back to her.  Fresh air rushes into the kitchen with the now-open door, and Bedivere stifles a cough.  He’ll have to wash his clothes, he thinks, the smell is far stronger in here than any time he’s watched someone else drinking coffee.  Smiling, he softly laughs to himself.  Chaldea is like the Camelot of old, he thinks, to make him feel like such a fool.  Alas, now he lacks the excuse of youth.  Bedivere abandons his latest attempt in the sink before turning the tap on and beginning to wash the mugs from the other four attempts.

         “Is there anything else I can help you with, Master?” Only now does the term feel natural in his mouth, nearly a month since the end of the Camelot Singularity.
