Bureau of Supernatural Affairs (B.S.A.)

The Age of Gods ceased to be in the year 0 and, ever since, the amount of mana in the world has been lessening more and more. The exponential growth of humanity and its technology in the last few centuries, alongside the breakthroughs of mage families and the usage of magic by non-magic users, created an imbalance in the world that resulted in the First Supernatural Crisis. To avoid a second crisis, the Bureau of Supernatural Affairs (B.S.A.) was created.

The B.S.A. is an international organization founded by a prominent group of mages and non-humans after the First Industrial Revolution to:

Ensure the safety of humans and non-humans alike, including the prevention and solving of crimes that involve the world of the unknown and/or cannot be judged by regular human laws.

Punish criminals who threaten the survival of magical entities and/or humanity as a whole, including those who violate the universal declaration of rights for all living and sentient creatures, and those who practice magic deemed too dangerous for the safety of this world.

Serve as the link between the world of the known and the unknown, keeping the supernatural world secret, eliminating supernatural black markets, and forbidding the sale of magical products/weapons/materials to non-magic users.

(New) Protect endangered magical creatures and their sanctuaries.
