The baby vulture changed tones from a near-impression of its name to a squawk, prompting Forte to shift her hold on the pokemon to cradle her in one arm and offer her her hand to chew on. The vullaby started to nibble on Forte’s finger as she continued to stare at Crash.
“Fairy, rock, electric.... ice, huh? The last three sound pretty easy t’ identify with what I’ve seen but how d’ you know what’s a fairy?”
The explanation was an interesting one, if a bit lengthy - and when Forte saw the picture of the adult her jaw dropped. “That’s... that’s one big bird. Wow... from this tiny li’l thing?”
"Hey, hey. You know how t' help bird poke-things right?"
“Ah, long time no see. Yes, I know quite a bit about bird Pokemon. Stanza is asleep right now though.”

“Good, thanks - and yeah it’s been a while I kind a got, um.... lost.” Forte smiles sheepishly, then holds up what looks like a baby vulture in a skull diaper. “This is Griselda. I got her when I was lost but I know dogs, not birds, so I thought maybe y’ might know something I can do?”
The baby bird in the SWN’s arms flaps her stubby wings and tilts her head curiously at the stranger. “Vull? Vullaby!”
"Hey, hey. You know how t' help bird poke-things right?"
“Ah, long time no see. Yes, I know quite a bit about bird Pokemon. Stanza is asleep right now though.”
