for taking care of me yesterday, I really am feeling so much better. I've been SINGING all day. I dont remember the last time I feel good enough to sing loudly in my house.
As a treat I'm gonna give you an exclusive, tumblr only, sneak peak to the Eden club sequel π (the title card is a spoiler so if you HAVENT read the eden club yet, be warned, below is spoiler territory)

βWhat the hell just happened?β Hank asks, appearing suddenly Gavinβs flank. Which is fair, Connorβs sudden mass exodus wasnβt exactly subtle.Β
βI dont know, he was freaking out and then he ran inside!β Gavin explains, still trying to understand himself.Β Β
βWell, we gotta go check on him!β Hank insists, huge stride already half through the doorway.Β
βJust, give him a sec Hank,β Gavin insists, stopping his boyfriend by his arm.Β
βWhat?βΒ
βYou shoulda seen him... He lookedβ¦ phcking terrified. Somethinβ spooked him.βΒ
βAll the more reason!β Hank huffs, anxiety masking as fury. Gavin doesn't take it personally. Heβs just as worried as Hank is.Β
But as it turns out, they didn't need to go anywhere. Connor was coming to them, a furious determination on his face.Β
βCon, baby?β Hank asks, but Connorβs eyes donβt move from their gaze ahead. In fact other than his feet, nothing else about him changes. He's a walking, stoic statue.Β
Connor makes no indication heβs heard Hankβs call and walks out of the party.Β and away from his two shouting and concerned partners.Β
The Eden Club
The since reattached door to Kamskiβs office slams open with the full force of Connorβs anger.Β
The human inside doesnt flinch. Instead he stands almost expectantly in front of his desk, arms linked behind his back.Β Β
βHello Connor.β
βYou planned this, all of this. From the start!βΒ
βWell,β Kamski smirks, βCertainly took you long enough.β
Connor scoffs reflexively, shaking his head.Β
βYouβve been using me,β Connor spits, and itβs not a question. βIt wasn't Emily who texted me it was you.β
His creator's grin only grows.Β
βYes.βΒ
βWHY!?βΒ
βOh come now Connor, I designed you smarter than this. I practically hand fed you all the clues.βΒ
Connor doesn't want to admit it, but he knows the answer. Probably knew it the whole time, just didn't want to accept the possibility it could be true.Β
β...Gavin.β
βObviously.β
Connorβs furious enough heβs moments from snapping the shorter manβs neck. If he was sure he could get away with it, he would.Β
βBut why me? You could have used any of your other androids!βΒ
Elijah looks at him like he just said Thirium was purple. He gives the android another moment to correct his statement before exhaling a little irritably,Β
βGavin isnβt in love with any of my other androids.β
That snaps Connorβs smart mouth closed. For a few reasons.Β
βH-How much have you seen?β Connor asks.Β
The smarmy grin that comes over Elijah's face has Connorβs artificial guts squirming.Β
