Hiii! Fellow artist here. I'd like some advice if you're willing to give it. How do you render so well? Are you self taught, or did you use tutorials? If it was tutorials, which ones are they? Your shading (Especially with hair!) is really good, and I've never managed to get the hang of it.
Hi anon! A little bit of both, i was self taught for most of it, however about rendering i advise Sinix design on youtube,
For me, i copy coloring /rendering styles from my favorite artists, here are some links on instagram:
denaseey , malizce_00 , _root65 , pen.lilixee and theres many many more
(Sometimes i take references on pinterests, sometimes i take references from ai or people i dont like out of spite.)
For hair shading i use a water color brush with 60% color mix (also I recommend looking at references cause im no pro)
For skin, ionno’ , thats when i zone out and render randomly sorry anon
