the new comic run probably won't give me any material to ship Onslaught and Blast Off w/. that's okay. all i need to ship them is for Onslaught and Blast Off to stand next to each other in a panel at least once. i can take it from there.

in any continuity where Combaticons appear, assume i will be there, holding up a sign in support of them being bastards. i have a duty.
some Combaticons (possibly) appeared as silhouettes in one of the new comic run's issues so now i'm going to hunt through the next issues, hoping in vain to see them again.

Speaking of combiners, what are your thoughts on Optimus being a combiner (specifically Combiner Wars) and the Dinobots having a combiner mode?
my thoughts on CW Optimus being part of a combiner much pretty much still match this post. when it comes to non-set teams or main characters being involved, combiners are usually wind up portrayed as a standard power-up mode. it's boring. no focus in the stuff that interests me about combiners.
Volcanicus in Cyberverse was cute and fun... i liked him.

Seeing the Victory combiners reminds me of what a waste it was to give the name "Megaempress" to a bot, and one that could combine no less, rather than a combiner. It would fit right in with the Victory combiners.

i would offer a more thoughtful response to this ask, but it reminded me that the Megatronia combiner team exists and i was briefly distracted by being blinded by rage at Hayato Sakamoto's sexism.
