Back in AP Lit, still reading Alias Grace. I have yet to read this book so hearing these class discussions are crazzyy. Senior year next year, I don’t know if I should take it easy or pack everything on. I am sort of planning on taking AP stats, and AP Art history, stats because it will fulfill a full year math requirement, it’s useful and I have heard it is one of the easiest math AP’s. AP Art history because it would fulfill my history credit as well as being a topic I am genuinely interested in. My friend Em took AP Psych this year and loves it bout from what I have witnessed it’s a large workload, but it would count as a science. In order to graduate next year I still need, 2 trimesters of foundations of art, a full year/three trimesters math or science, a full year/three trimesters of English and  a full year/three trimesters of a History. If I take more AP’s it could either plummet or sky rocket my GPA. Its just something I need to think about. Especially if I don’t end up rowing in college.

January 31st, 2022
Long time no post. Sorry. Recently my life has been pretty hectic, an a lot is about to change. I am not someone who is very adaptable to major changes, even when my friends get hair cuts or new piercings or a large tattoos it throws me for a loop. And it’s not like you can say anything about it so it just bottles up inside until I eventually get over it. I am currently in AP Lit and we are talking about a book I am not even ten pages in, my teacher is to funny. I don’t know if its on purpose though, I have a lot of teachers like that. The book is Alias Grace by Margret Atwood, and it seems interesting I just am a super slow reader. On another note, as most people know I am trying to commit to row in college and it’s so stressful because this is my one ticket out. No one at my school really every commits for sports and especially not D1 rowing. Columbia is my dream choice but I don’t have the times, grades, or connections. I am slowly accepting that not everything I imagined for my life, is going to come to fruition. I don’t even think I want to go to college, maybe just take a few classes of interest and row, that's it. I spent a lot of time throughout my life going back and forth from New York to Buffalo. Specifically Manhattan, I love the meatpacking district, Chelsea and the Heights of course. I have a friend who’s dad lives in a former school building in Brooklyn, what a sick apartment, he owns a little gallery in Dumbo. Now thinking about it he is almost like a eastern European version of Rufus Humphrey from Gossip Girl. That’s all for now, my teacher’s giving me a look.

I think what makes Frank so interesting is his aspect of elusiveness. He rarely does interviews, posts on social media, drops music, but when he does it makes impact. I look forward to seeing how his new jewelry line, Homer, develops over the next few years.

I was looking forward to doing this photography program where they teach you how to develop your own film, sounds dope right. I was counting on getting them money for it two weeks ago... of course it filled up: who’s surprised. Just shows you timing is everything in life, and you cant rely on others to do something just because they say they will. I’m gonna see what I can do. Maybe they’ll make an exception or they could just tell me I’m shit outta luck.

I just love listening to Tyler articulate, you can tell he knows what he’s talking about with no pretentious residue. His radio show interviews are so entertaining. A few friends and I are seeing him in Pittsburgh in a couple weeks, defiantly gonna be one of the highlights of my year. I hope that this Covid bs dies down. Grow up get vaxxed guys this stuff should be done already but people want to be difficult and not get vaxxed, not wear their masks right, debate weather or not we are in a pandemic. OMG don’t even get me started.

I really forget how much I enjoy being outside and not being in my house. I get “home” and I am instantly drained of any energy I have, like its bad vibe central here. I’m not really allowed to get out on my own much so I’m kind of stuck here, especially when my friends are busy or not tryna hag atm. I like the idea of winter, when powder covers everything and its just cold enough for the snow not to melt, so there’s not ice, and the snow insulates you and it seems like everything calms a little and the world seem beautiful again.
