Is it even a city on the canvas in front of you? The buildings look fake, like shadows pretending at geometry. It might as well be people, slightly abstract, turned away. Turned away from you. Only the sun is ever present, staring at you. Shaming you. Nothing is inviting about this painting.

Hello everyone, the Fallen Hero (fan) Tumblr Community page was approved! Because Communities are in beta (?) you will have to be invited to the Community to join in right now, but eventually it will be public for everyone. My thoughts about having a Community, is that if Tumblr handles them well, it is an effective way to keep spam out of fandom spaces (if any of you follow the #fallen hero tag you know it becomes a memorial tag sometimes), but we'll see! I'm still trying to figure out what the most effective way of using the Community feature is, so it might be rough for a bit.

That being said, if you want to join the Community, please feel free to reach out to me so I can send you an invite. I don't plan on not inviting anyone who wants in right now because we're in sandbox mode, so if that's going to be an issue for you, please keep that in mind and decide for yourself if that's a level of interaction you want to entertain. I'm hoping we can still have fun with it.

Finally! I was able to finish the sketch. Now I may be able to do the whole set (even if I still do not know who to put on The Lovers and The Hierophant ^^')

Well. My pen died, which is very fitting for this week! ✨

But I got some of one leg before that? u__u;;; I do like them. The shiny weird effect of the metallic paint is trippy in a fun way, and with the tangerine orange under them, they sometimes do feel like they’d be felt if touched. It’s nice. I still wish it was more oversaturated but alas~~

I’m fighting myself on the messy bits because me and anything painty aren’t friends and my control is limited, so it’s good for me. Plus, no one will really see them? But I do have to wait to finish, so maybe try again??

I was gonna work on blushing Vendetta and Ortega with the rest of the day, but the sky just opened up and started raining. So! Can’t do that.

In a week where basically all my projects have not worked out in any meaningful degree, I will say Vendetta’s tattoos are looking very nice, and I’ll take that win~~~~

i love you julia ortega it’s so crucial to have female characters over 35 that aren’t just mother figures. and she does think about aging! but in the context of it debilitating her physical prowess/the duration her mods can withstand and not my biological clock is running out. it’s so refreshing

how many degrees of separation are there really between being a superhero/villain and just having a fursona. you gotta design how this version of yourself would look and choose how best to represent yourself.... you might not want everybody in your life to know about it..... there's multiple names and identities involved..... i mean. Look at Batman. and The Penguin, for gods sake. Do you think they could've just tried being regular furries without all this crime stuff first? bruce wayne can for sure afford all those commissions

i do personally headcanon that back in the sidestep days eden and steel actually got along pretty well and then eden did his face reveal and steel had 2 seconds where he went "oh huh, he's kind of cute" and then immediately went "wait he's like twenty how the fuck does he fight so well" and their relationship got exponentially worse after that
