"Now," He responded in a cool tone while letting the woman regain her senses from being startled and stepped back to fully look at the woman, "What brings you here, anyway? Are you aware of where you even are?" He cocked a brow. It wasn't normal to see such a human-like woman come by the mansion of the vampire. Especially when it's a house for those who are not well equiped to fight for their lives.
Waiting still at the entrance of the door, she carefully leaned her weight against the door moulding. Her eyes wandering as she take in the horrifying scene that is in front of her, the hair on her skin raising as she felt the chills run down her spine. She is scared— not because of the myth of ghosts and such, but because of the fact that she didn’t know anything about the place, about the person with her, the man who was and still comforting her. “Yeah, I’ll remember to be strong~” Charlee answered, giving off a small smile right after.

Upon seeing the woman flinch and jump from terror, just from his simple quiet 'boo' excited the heir. A wide, smug grin curved his lips and a low chuckle escaped them. He tossed the phone back to her and clicked his tongue, sliding his hands in his pockets. The atmosphere immediately changed when he knew what the magica creature had just done -- of course, it peeved Sungbin since it felt like he was hiding from those wanting to hurt him or anyone supernatural. As heir to the throne of the Lamia, it was his duty to protect them. Even if he seemed like a jackass.
"Seriously? You're going to to call me 'old'?" He folded his arms in front of his chest and glared at the woman until he fell onto a random chair in their shop, "Why are you so rude to your future prince?" Of course, he wouldn't talk this way to just anyone. Only to his close friends and those were rare in his book. The vampire took a quarter out and flipped it out of boredom when he heard their question.
"I'm kind of... Worried," He answered honestly, "I know this may seem weird, but do you honestly think I can take the throne?" A small faint frown appeared on his lips -- a rare expression that no one usually witnesses. It felt strange whenever he frowned. Lately, he's always frowned because he was worried.
Taking the throne is a huge responsibility. It doesn't make it any better that there's pressure on him now about laws between the supernatural and the humans. It just irritated him since most humans found those who are magical... Inferior. He leaned back and looked up at the ceiling, "What if I can't protect everyone?"

Immerse in her newly bought smartphone, Catarina didn’t notice the bell of her front door. All around, She was confused she had never had a phone before, given as a gift from one of her acquaintances as a ‘token of gratitude’ she was at lost for words. Catarina first learned how to send texts and take pictures and now she’s learning how to browse the internet, which is better than finding gold at the end of the rainbow, in her case. She found the device fascinating and it kept her preoccupied the whole time as she was watching videos off on Youtube.
“Boo.”
Catarina could only jump in her seat, the gadget jumping out of her grip, only to be caught by the other who have fast reflexes as he chuckled at her suprised and mortified expression.
“Hey! That was not funny.” She quickly fired in her native tongue thick with accent.
“What are you even doing here, you ancient man?” She quickly got out of her counter, maneuvering her hands over the bookshelves, chanting a protection spell for the both of them. It wasn’t just the supernatural that come and go in her store but hunters of different variety as well. Just in case anyone would walk in, the store is disguise as a normal antique bookstore. Those off the supernatural were hidden from the unwanted. Returning back to her guest she snatched the phone away from him, pulling a seat for the other as she returned to her post.
It was unusual for the other to just visit him without prior notice (or maybe she just too busy she forgot) and for a good measure the vampire only visits her at home. Seeing her shop had become notorious to hunters. “What is it that you need? You don’t usually visit me at the store… unless you want to pester me.” she made a face as she leaned on the counter.
