Aiden clicked his tongue at her response. “I could get used to that,” he thought aloud before smiling over at the woman. “Thanks,” he added, quickly glancing at his watch to check the time. Her next comment pulled him back out of his thoughts. “Why an umbrella specifically?” he asked in slight confusion.
“Drinking all day is a version of heaven, I’m almost like one hundred percent sure of it.” Clean brows rose for a second, reconsidering her words. “On second thought, drinking all day might not be the greatest idea.” Tanned hands gesture and she laughs at his question. “You’re on vacation you have to have at least one umbrella drink. Now, I’m sure that’s a rule somewhere.”

Okay, so maybe Eve was doing the touristy thing. Even after a few days of watching the landscape from her balcony window, and taking more pictures of the sunrise and sunset than she should, she’d never be able to get enough of the view. It’s only the voice of the woman who’s sunbathing does she realize her rookie mistake. Casting brown eyes downward, she waves a dismissive hand before grinning. “I could think of a couple of ways but at the risk of leaving my Nana’s spirit in the grave, I’ll keep my mouth shut.” Shuffling out of the other’s sunlight, she set up a spot next to her. “Are you always this serious about your tan?”
Nadine loved to be outside. She loved the wind and the sun beating down on her. That’s why she was out laying by the pool, sunglasses on as she relaxed. The sun kept her warm and the smell of chlorine filled her senses. She was so at peace, sitting there in her bathing suit that she didn’t even realize someone approach her. Not until she felt a chill come over her. She sat up, propping herself on an elbow as she pushed her sunglasses on top of her head. “Can I help you?” She asked, squinting up at them.

Seating her sunglasses on top of her head, Eve glanced upwards at the taller man. “Hm? Don’t quote me but I’m sure it’s open 24/7? Or it’s open from lunch onward.” Pulling out her phone, brown eyes glanced at the time before slipping her phone back in her pocket. “I’d say you’re pretty safe to start drinking. Although if you don’t get at least one umbrella drink, you might as well just buy your own bottle from somewhere.”
A part of him was incredibly anxious about what would happen when he finally ran into Nikki, but the other part of him was grateful he had come here. He honestly couldn’t remember the last time he had left the city, nonetheless for an impromptu style, solo vacation. Hopefully, it was going to be more of a breath of fresh air than anything else. As he walked down to the pool, Aiden stopped the first person he saw. “Hey, do you happen to know what time the bar opens tonight?” he asked curiously.
