Fun Story Time: I reported a blog that had unconsenting pictures of a topless AFAB minor that was sexually abused by the blog owner, and Tumblr told me it does not count as harm to real children.

But drawn anime porn of a totally-real-anime-girl is a big no-no fucking APPARENTLY.

Welp. Looks like Tumblr is no longer safe for proshippers.

This post just crossed my dash, and I figured I should let y'all lovelies know.

Tumblr, per their own godsdamned guidelines, is now allowing for the incorrect flagging of fictional content as CSEM.

Despite my being the resident asshole of the proship community, I don't want y'all to get banned/blogs terminated/harassed.

I don’t know if anyone is still looking for answers but this is my very *personal* experience:

(Possible trigger warning for sexual abuse)

- I am not attracted to anyone.

- But my body was trained to have a lot of sex.

- Now when I don’t (at the minimum) masturbate every day, I start feeling as if I have actual withdrawal symptoms? I become irritable and sweaty and can’t stop thinking about having sex even though it does not turn me on.

- It just feels physically good to be touched down there. I’m not into the person but well, my genitals and the nerves function. You touch me in a sensitive spot, I’m going to fucking feel it, you know?

Like those above me said, hypersexuality can (and usually) comes from sexual trauma so asexuals can be afflicted too. Especially when most people experience it as sex addiction.

(Yes I’m in therapy, but I’m too afraid of mentioning this tbh)

1. Thanks for the ask.

2. I am not the spokesperson for asexuals. Or even the LGBT community itself. So this is less "can [x] do [y]" and more "do you think [x] can do [y]."

3. There are a lotta reasons one might be hypersexual. And I don't think it's exclusive to any sexuality. Especially if it's because of trauma/abuse. So it's not like it's impossible.

4. That said. If you enjoy having sex with someone, that is attraction. You don't have to want to date them, or even do it again. But if you had consensual sex and enjoyed it, you have attraction, and as such, don't fall under asexual.

5. That said. There's exceptions to everything. If you're "enjoying" sex cuz it's how you feel validated I would call that "please get therapy" before I call it "attraction."

6. So I guess short answer. Can asexuals be hypersexual? Most likely not. Life is funky so it's not impossible but you shouldn't be having sex with someone you don't feel any attraction to, and if you enjoy sex with someone that is in fact attraction. Anyone can be hypersexual. It doesn't really say anything about someone's sexuality. But the two are concepts that don't like exactly mesh together well.

Just in general, is it really this fucking hard to just do as you’re told? Unless your parent is abusive and you hate them, or you’re in a shitty mood, or you have no respect for the person asking you to do the specific thing...

Like. Is it... really that hard to just do as your mom tells you? lol “She’d say it let the rain in and I’d think “no shit” and continue to keep them open” just sounds like such a bratty statement. Are you the one cleaning the floors and spilling later? Are you the one dealing with the consequences of the water getting inside? Does sound like being intentionally difficult.

I’m not saying that kids should blindly follow everything their parents tell them to do because that’s Fucking Yikes, but maybe at least bother asking “But why is it a bad thing?” or something before blatantly ignoring someone else’s request? Autism is an explanation but it’s not an excuse. No neurodivergence and/or mental illness is an excuse to be selfish or make other people’s lives harder.

If you're ever asking an autistic person to do something, be sure to explain why you want them to do it.

When I was a kid, I always kept the windows open when it rained. I saw no reason to close them even though my mom kept asking me to. She never gave a reason, so I never listened. She'd say it let the rain in and I'd think "no shit" and continue to keep them open. Eventually, she explained that it could cause mold. That made sense to me, so I started closing the windows. Simple as that.

When we first got cats, they kept jumping onto the counters. Once again, I saw no issue with this. My mom kept chasing them down and I couldn't figure out why. She'd get annoyed whenever I let them stay up there. Once she told me that it was unsanitary, I thought that made sense so I stopped letting them stay on the counter.

To an outsider (and probably to my mom at the time) it may have seemed like I didn't understand the instructions or was being intentionally difficult. But I can't just follow an order without a reason. I must decide for myself if the order makes sense before I follow it, and I need the logic behind it to do that.

So if you're asking an autistic person to do something, explain why it needs to be done. It's very hard for a lot of us to override that part of our brains.

I’m too apathetic to even kill myself. I’m just going to sit and do nothing and let myself rot away.

The people around me see how cold I’ve become and think I’m back to my old self again, but those who are actually close with me realized something’s wrong and I don’t want to deal with sympathy and attempts at making things better.

I don’t care about things being better.

I just want to go to sleep and hope I don’t wake up one of those times.
