i don’t understand why some fanfiction writers will put all of there work in one giant paragraph. i am constantly abusing a paragraph break. i use it every five seconds. new subject? new paragraph. slightly different angle? new paragraph. any sentence that holds any amount of weight? boom new paragraph. i will use one word then do another paragraph break. you can’t stop me.

In The Safety of His Arms
It’s the way his hands feel on Dean’s back, solid and steady. The way his deep voice soothes Dean’s worries like the promise of a storm, a rumbling in the dark that means a deep sleep is to come.
Benny loves Dean in a myriad of ways, but sometimes Dean needs to be told, outright and with words. Because as much as he shows his love to Benny with acts and touch, Dean needs to hear it.
Benny sees it in Dean’s eyes, though Dean tries to hide it, the timid hope, a question unasked. And it tears him open.
“Everything alright, cher?” Benny asks, stepping closer, not letting Dean squirm out of an answer. His hands frame Dean’s hips, draw them together by the belt buckles.
Dean puts his arm around Benny’s back for balance as he whispers in his lover’s ear. “Just need a minute,” he says through gritted teeth.
“Take all the time you need. I aint goin’ nowhere.”
And they both know it to be true. Dean hugs Benny’s neck and they stand tall, swaying in their private bubble.
They breathe through the moment and no one in the crowd around them even notices. Benny holds him, grounds him. Pats away the sweat on his neck as the panic subsides. More ways that Benny loves him. Dean sighs and rests his forehead on Benny’s chest, staring at their booted feet.
“Hey,” Benny gets his attention. “Nowhere I’d rather be, understand?”
Dean nods and kisses him with the deepest gratitude.

From the first three episodes, Tracker already has SPN parallels. Except there's a little sister, the mom is alive, and it is suspected the oldest brother killed their super-paranoid survivalist dad and then disappeared for 20 years.
Can't wait to see how Jensen handles Russel.

no offense but sam/rowena as a narrative opposite to sam/ruby where ruby taught sam to embrace the power within him and manipulated him with sex and affection and drugs into using it for evil, rowena teaches sam to embrace and harness the power within him while sam helps her learn that she can be powerful and be loving. their magic is healing and beautiful and they don’t have to take from each other or be dependent on each other to be powerful.
