so i was rewatching the 3gs scene in II (season 2 ep 13) and i realized some stuff about 3gs and the whole scene and thought id just kinda dump it here
So first off, foreshadowing. Since the screenshots i took wont load heres whats said in the captions:
"Belay that troops! We cannot halt innovation when the future is so near!"
"They just broke through the shell! MOVE! THIS IS ALL WE HAVE! NO! DONT-"
At first i assumed that all of this was 3gs talking, but the line "they just broke through the shell" leads me to believe that one of the shimmers, (likely the prime shimmer) was talking in the second half of the recording since he says something really similar the next episode.
Specifically he says "then they broke through our shell and took those who didn't have a choice."
Plus, i feel like if it was 3gs talking in the beginning, i feel like he likely shares his opinions with cobs. Idk i just feel like thats something cobs would say and that 3gs is similar to him in that regard. He wants innovation, and will stop at nothing to see it happen.
Also, none of the devices are "powered on" per say, they just kinda wake up. Mephone doesn't even touch Mecintosh or 3gs, they just kinda leave sleep mode. But like, why? Is it a glitch? Why doesn't mecintosh do or say anything? We know he can talk since he does so in episode 8. He seemed confused, so maybe he just didn't know what was going on?
im also wondering if 3gs was trying to warn Mephone about cobs, and how truely bad he was. After all, why an audio recording? Why that specific one?
His battery dies after that (it says so in the captions) so was this a conscious decision from 3gs? Or just him being old and malfunctional?
Wait. His battery died. WAIT HOLY SHIT DID MEPHONE JUST WATCH 3GS DIE? LIKE ACTUALLY?
Some of this is probably obvious but id just thought id say it anyway

Basically this is Flowey in Papyrus’s body.
What happened? Most likely this is one of Flowey’s hundreds of routes where he tries everything “the game” has to ofer him. Every possible way to deal with everybody. Every possible way to find boredom with Papyrus.
How did it happened? Most likely Flowey found a way to get inside Papyrus’s body and absorb his soul. Story context is missing, I admit.
How’s he functioning? Papyrus is alive but out of control over his body. There’s almost none of signs of him being conscious and present. The only one is when sometimes Flowey struggles to move freely as if this body resists. But nothing more.
Stats? Power? Flowey would be more powerful if he absorbed a human soul but this one goes well too. Basically their abilities are summed up and have magical nature. Papyrus’s attacks are covered with Flowey’s red spikes, his blasters have those red-green eyes. And vines and petals.
Personality? Same old Flowey. He has Papyrus’s regular amount of memories and knowledge, tho he can’t unlock the deepest ones. But he doesn’t need to. Despite being in adult monster’s body and having his own long live, it’s still a mind of a kid.
Soul? He does have a monster soul and he genuinely enjoys whatever he has in life now (which is rather a world he’s erasing). At least he’ll be like this for some long time until he gets bored or his “toy” will break (probably of determination). There is a small chance that he’ll feel sorrow for his actions and that’s only because of a soul he has.
Why he exists? Evil expression on Papyrus’s face is my weakness.
