[Spring Fling Masterlist]
Spring has arrived. The remnant cold that the winter season had left lingered on the streets for weeks, and it was just the right amount of coolness to battle the sun’s heat.
Minho, upon the early kiss of the sun’s rays, had already set up his little flower shop at the corner of Levanter Street. The place was perfect to catch the eyes of any passerby, as the place was decorated with the newly blooms of spring. And it was around this time that customers alike would pick out from his bunch.
Mothers who usually finished up their spring cleaning would buy a couple or three bouquets they would set on their vintage vases. Men and women pick single stems of flowers as a gift for their newly love, or bouquets to celebrate one’s anniversary. Even witches pass by, their brooms speeding to a stop to look for Minho’s rare plants they can use for their crafts.
To say spring was the busiest season for his little flower shop would truly be an understatement. And so, he had to look for someone to be his apprentice.

hyunjin: has reached the point of absolute "no fucks given" especially since sharing a dorm with 3racha. though he's busy with his art pieces, he does care, he just doesn't show it obviously.

Hello!
I've been gone for I don't know how long and I'm really sorry about that ;;;; uni stuff came burrying me with so much work so I can't really juggle writing, while also preparing my portfolio, assisting with our exhibit, and also writing my thesis paper (-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩___-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩) my brain is kind of exhausted from trying to come up with technical terms for our research, and it's really giving me a giant writer's block, creative wise and scholar wise 🥹 but I'm dropping by to let everyone know some of the things about updates and other writings and stuffs
1. I'm still continuing any series that I've already published! I'm already ashamed for always updating late but with all the work with uni rn, i believe we're all going to have to wait until i have a more flexible schedule 🥹
of course I'm not dropping any works! i am actually interested with the plots I've already worked on especially for my first smau 😭 but we'll have to wait so i kindly ask that you guys don't lose patience with me 🥹
2. despite my busy schedule, i still am hoping that i get some interactions, ig that can at least help me with things irl 🥹 it's kind of a boost of morale and drive 🥹
3. if you've commented on a post of mine, forgive me if i don't reply as quickly 🥲 again, i am of course busy but when i have a free time i do drop by, but i sometimes just naturally forget to reply 😭 and i am sorry for that 😭

Ahhh thank you for the tag ella! 🥺 Tbh it was hard for me to pick out my most favorites among the movies i watched 😭 especially last semester we had to do some film reviews so i couldn't refresh some of the ones i liked, but i chose the ones i watched personally instead and not the ones from uni homework 💀

I don't really know what this says about me 💀 but hey! I mostly like musicals, and if not either romance (comedy or just with really good plot!) I've been thinking a lot tbh, over the finals. Some of my works have only been getting likes, and I don't get that much feedback. I've also been asking for ask or anon interactions but (;ŏ﹏ŏ) it's making me want to quit tumblr tbh ;;;;
let’s talk, shall we?
it’s no secret that writers tumblr writers have been leaving or deactivating their blogs, especially in the last year or two. and i think the reason why is even less of a secret.
the fact that writers have to practically beg for feedback and interaction on a site where they post their works for FREE is ridiculous. the fact that most of the people who are reading and consuming these works don’t even spare 10 seconds to add a nice tag to their reblog (if they even bother to do that) is borderline enraging. this is tumblr, not instagram or twitter. likes on tumblr do nothing for the writer. i don’t care if you think that it helps them appear in the tags, or if you think that seeing yet another “___ liked your post” is encouraging to them, because it doesn’t and its not.
and speaking of likes, why is the ratio of likes to reblogs so fucking huge? and before you think i’m being dramatic, lets take a look at some of the notes from my own works.
at the time of me writing this, my one-shot, dream lover, has 821 notes. that’s pretty good right? but let’s see how many are empty likes and how many are reblogs.

one of my reactions currently has 2,038 notes. you may be thinking that’s a lot, which it is and i’m incredibly thankful for how many notes i’ve gotten on it. but how many are likes and how many are reblogs?

why is it so hard to reblog things and give feedback?
“oh but it won’t fit my blog theme!” if you’re so fucking concerned about what your precious tumblr blog looks like, then send an ask. they’re just as appreciated.
“i don’t know what to say tho!” we’re not asking you to be shakespeare. if you’re really that no thoughts head empty just put a keyboard smash, if nothing else.
“but i’m shy and embarrassed!” the anonymous option is there for a reason, and most writers have it turned on. being shy when you have the option of keeping your identity a secret is no excuse.
and yes, i’m aware that some writers don’t have the anon option on, which brings me to my final point.
stop. demanding.
if a writer has requests open, being a decent human being and use your manners. going into their inbox and saying “____’s reaction of this.” is no way to request something. saying please, thank you, or even “hey, could do a reaction of _____?” is a thousand times better than just telling them what you want them to write.
writers spend hours of their time and energy to write things for you to read, and leaving an empty like is meaningless to them.
if your liked a writer’s works, reblog them and maybe add some nice fucking tags while you’re at or send an ask to them about it. because sooner or later, after so many likes and barely any interaction, more and more writers are going to leave.
stop making them desperate for any spare crumb of interaction and start leaving feedback if you love these writers so much.

The door squeaked as you pushed it open and you smiled as you headed into the dark dance studio to find your boyfriend lying on the floor waiting for you. There were blankets surrounding him and his face was lit up by his phone. This was one of those rare moments when the two of you could finally be alone together and you were going to make the best of it.
“I got the goods.” You told him before laying down and cuddling into his side. Minho automatically wrapped his arm around your waist dragging you closer to him as you relaxed a little. The two of you had formed a close relationship over the last year and you noticed that he was only ever warm in front of you. All of the other times he came across as a “mean” and “grumpy” guy to everyone else, being quite cold with them. Though he had been the same way with you when you first met one another.
“Good, why are we sitting in the dark again?” He quizzed, locking his phone and turning to face you as you smirked. The two of you were going to have a movie day, the boys had been given the afternoon off and you wanted to spend time together. You hoped that by turning off the lights no one would come in and disturb the two of you.
“That’s the genius part of my plan,” You told him as you sat up, looking around the room and back to your boyfriend. Even in the low lighting that was coming from under the door, you knew he was staring directly at you,
“No one will come in if the lights are out,” He frowned before sitting up, there were some major holes in your theory and he shook his head at you.
“Hmm, not so genius though, dummy. If the lights were on, no one would come inside.“
“Oh.”
