Giant Speculation post on what I think the Destroyed Universes were for the purposes of giving Hearts a backstory

While making that last Hearts Comic I was pulling together as much DBS lore I could, so here’s all that.

While searching about the DBS universes I found a post basically saying that the 12 known universes seem to have a sort of theme and I thought that was interesting and wanted to come up with hypothetical themes for the destroyed universes,

Honestly I’m not really happy with any of the themes or symbols I came up with, I tried to follow the already established theming conventions, but those aren’t official anyway so idk. But I made those up at like 12am and it’s not that important to the Hearts headcanons, I just did it for the sake of world building I guess.

I always thought that Hearts being from a destroyed Universe would be good motivation for him to want to kill Zeno, so I was happy to find I wasn’t the only who thought of it 😅 the only potential issue is that we don’t know how long ago those universes were destroyed, so if those turned out to be destroyed like a million years ago then that makes Hearts superrrrr old, so for now imma just say it wasn’t super long ago, but still way before the events of og dragon ball. Besides, we don’t know how long Hearts’ species lives for anyways, so he could already be like thousands of years old in earth years and only be like, in his mid 20s or smth in his specie’s lifetime.

Another potential issue is that some people say Hearts is from the Demon Realm(?) idk if that’s canon, and I don’t know why a demon would care about mortal life being controlled by the gods, but if it is true then this whole headcanon is basically dead. If anyone knows if this was confirmed anywhere feel free to let me know!

Anyway I plan to flesh these ideas out more eventually, idk how tho. Probably more comics but I kinda want to make it one big story or smth idk 💀

(Also I know the whole Destroyer Earnings thing was established AFTER Hearts was introduced in SDBH, but I think it’d be fun to connect it anyway)

I'm getting used to the new style a little bit. :))

Work for episode 9 of "What if". Despite everything that has happened, I really like to think that Supreme now lives in every atom of the universe he created and has achieved what he wanted for so long - to be with Kristin. Maybe not quite in the usual sense of the word.
