A poem
I shake still in my room thinking
My ears pointing straight towards the door
The slightest noise scares me, unblinking
I hope he is not outside the anymore.
A thump
A drag
A bump
What object has he devoured
The shouts are getting louder now
They have made him put on a show
I sometimes wonder if they actually want to get hurt
And that's when I hear him let go
"AH!" They scream
"CALLING THE POLICE" they say
Yet years later it still hasn't gone away
They make me stay quite
Not tell others of the incident
Yet this way more happen
Each anger a coincidence
And so I type this now
To relieve my pain
He hasn't hit me yet
But still the pain won't go away.
