I am kinda bummed that we didn't get more moments with the Wachowski family in this show. It didn't have to be much, but I felt that sense we didn't get enough of em before that sort of just vanished for the rest of the show.

We didn't get to see them at the last episode. The episode just ends, and we don't see Knuckles going back to the house, since it is a place he can now call home, (cause idk if they alluded to the idea that he would be staying with the Whipples or not) maybe apologize to Maddie and reconcile in his own, Knuckles way and come to terms with him being there for more than a vow he promised Sonic and Tails.

That's probably the hopeless family fanatic in me, but hey, I can't help it.

The Knuckles series was so completely and utterly unhinged what the hell did I just witness. Straight up flabbergasted.

I don’t even know how to describe it like it wasn’t good but holy shit was I having a good time watching it once I realized it was just going to be bonkers crazy like that.

Like the fucking 10 minute rock opera? Knuckles and Mrs. Whipple wrecking shit while the camera revolves around the candles?? Wades dad just being British™️??? Wade being abandoned in a tj maxx???? FUCKING IBLIS????? SHADOW WENT BOWLING IN THE 70s??????

I’ve never done drugs but I feel like this show is a pretty good approximation of what a drug trip feels like.

One part of the show that I really liked was the moment Wade found out he had a bounty on his head. Part of me was expecting Knuckles... who had lived on the run pretty much his entire life... to shrug it off, or even take it as a challenge.

But no. He is at a lost for words as he gauges his friend's reaction, and when Wade expresses fear Knuckles looks guilty and troubled.

And then he does what he can to help. He destroys the source of the bounty announcement– the radio– and coaches Wade to find a place to lay low once first light has broken.

Knuckles thrives on the battlefield, but he knows what it's like to be on the run, and just because he's used to being targeted doesn't mean he wants the same for anyone else– especially someone as inexperienced as Wade. It was just a subtle, sweet little character moment that really showed how Knuckles, for all his abrasiveness and warrior tendencies, is so softhearted.

at this point it just straight up is malevolently intentioned to ignore every single female character in the sonic franchise. i do not understand how the fuck you chose to have pachacamac as a character in the knuckles series and not even reference tikal. let alone the fact tikal should have been far more prominent than pachacamac.

One thing I can say about this show is that Knuckles' characterization was 10/10. There was so much emphasis on how much kindness and heart the big guy has despite his harsh, warrior exterior. He showed himself to be so so empathetic and determined to help, while at the same time opening himself up to new information and experiences. He didn't always know how to approach things from a social standpoint, but he always tried so so hard.

Every second this guy was on screen was a delight.
