I understand your nervousness about delivering something good to your readers without completely spoiling the plot. Well, you managed to deliver so much in this story that I have nothing to complain about.

I don't know why, but I remembered and I'm obsessed with the dedication of a book by one of my country's greatest national writers. I read that book when I was a teenager and I intend to re-read it. I'll leave the dedication here, and I hope DeepL translates it correctly:

The game I'm playing on mobile Tears of Themis has discounts on their ingame stuff but still man, no money for it. I daily grind on that game plus Love and Deepspace. Those are the ones I'm playing at the moment.

Oh gosh! I love "Two Twisted Crowns", but not as much as I loved "One Dark Window" (which is the first of the duology of "The Shepard King"). I would highly recommend "One Dark Window", in all honesty. I need more people to know about this duology. The magic system is chefs kiss and Ravyn Yew? Stole my fucking heart since he was first introduced.
And that is a deep ass dedication! I actually like that a lot!

hello!! i hope u are having or had a great day today
i just want to say how amazing your writing is. i absolutely love how you write the characters especially reader. one of your works that i always think about constantly is pushed to the edge. the angst, the longing, the anger, omg. every time i have read it, i am always crying i finish it.
my absolutely favorite line is in the end, "you will, for eternity, regret and mourn... you will be as broken as i was when you betrayed me..." i have always seen these type of endings written where it ends happily, and i have always wanted to have endings not as fairytale and rainbows. i am NOT a writer at all, but i am a bit of a daydreamer, so to have a fic where I am wholly satisfied with the ending, even tho it isn't the happiest, is like finding a rare treasure.

Thank you so much for enjoying my writing, especially PTTE! Like I have said before, I have big shoes to fill to live up to that series of mine! I never thought it would receive this much positive feedback and be so well-welcomed in the community! And I'm so glad you enjoy it; it is very sad and very angst fic. I am always sorry when people say they do get very sobby when they read it, but also, I feel like I have portrayed the story well when people tell me that, too!
Oh, that line. It tugs my heartstrings! The reader was so broken and so betrayed that all she hoped was that Azriel felt even an ounce of what she felt.
And totally understand your point! I love happy endings; I mean who isn't a sucker for happy endings? But I'm a huge sucker of angst and leaving everyone kind of sad. 🤣🤣🤣 I dub myself Queen of Angst sometimes.

you know what i realized that i guess i had subconsciously wrote when i wrote "nothing but a curse" that lucien and elain are the sun and the garden and they thrive with each other. yet the reader, who is the flowers, is slowly wilting without them. excuse while i cry.
