Excerpt from Chap 83 of BB FF

‘Moron! Idiot! That stupid Kinn!’, Porsche growled as he got up from the floor just as Chay barged in.

‘Hia? You ok?’ He looked worried.

Porsche rubbed his shoulder and nodded. ‘I am fine. What are you doing at home? You should be at work right now?’

‘Hia! Its not even seven in the morning. I was heading to P’Kim’s to have breakfast with him! I heard you scream and came here to check on you. You ok?’ Chay had walked over while speaking and now was watching the shoulder, that Porsche was rubbing, worriedly.

Porsche sighed. ‘I am fine. I just had a nightmare and woke up in a shock, rolled over and fell down on the shoulder.’

Chay frowned at his explanation. ‘Hia! You look like you did even sleep! You ok?’

No teasers this week!

No teasers this week! Feeling lazy due to birthday prep and all! Normally, I would have still tried my level best to post them but nobody is reading this blog which means I can have a day off anytime I want! So no teasers this week! I am taking a break from posting them! lol. I am still writing though. Just no teasers, coz no one is reading.

Excerpt from One Shot due tomorrow

‘People!’, Kinn shouted, hoping to bring an end to this argument before the violent side of his family came out to play. ‘I am his husband, so clearly I am his best friend!’

‘Oh please!’, Vegas burst out, ‘You fell in love with him. We all bonded with him because we click as friends. Don’t put us in your category!’

Kinn blinked, totally taken aback. Why did it feel like Vegas was looking down upon Kinn for being just a husband and not the best friend?

‘Exactly. You are just a husband. We four clicked with him!’ P’Khun waved him off.

Excerpt from Hubby FF Chap 5

Kinn walked towards it and his eyes widened at what he saw. It was a small cake with a card next to it. He picked up the card. The card read ‘Happy Valentines Day, husband.’ Kinn took in a sharp breath as he read the remaining note under it. ‘It is our first Valentines as husbands. May we celebrate many more together.’

The door to the terrace shut behind him and Kinn turned to see Porsche standing with one hand on the door and other holding a candle, close to his face, illuminating it.

Excerpt from Hubby FF Chap 5

P’Khun smirked, his eyes glinting hard. ‘Consider it done. By the time the party is over, everyone would see Porsche as we see him.’

‘And the whole family would rally behind him.’, Kim murmured. When Kinn looked at him, he saw Kim staring at him with the same expression P’Khun had. ‘I will make sure that the whole city knows that the family supports him fully and would destroy anyone who sought to harm a single hair on Porsche’s head.’

Kinn nodded at him approvingly.

‘You three are scary when you work together.’, Chay piped up and the trio looked at him to see him smiling with pride. ‘But its for my Hia! So do your best!’ He tipped his glass of drink at them.

Excerpt from Hubby FF Chap 5

‘I have my whole life with you. Also, this party is important for all of us! I want the whole world to see you and acknowledge you as the spouse to the Head. And for that, you need to look untouchable, unapproachable, someone who is so ethereal that people would consider me the lucky one for bagging you!’, Kinn said softly.

Porsche blushed at those words and ducked his head shyly. Kinn loved his Porsche the way he was, bold and brash but shy Porsche had a special place in his heart because the man was shy only in the matters of love. Someone teased Porsche about Kinn, he would blush. Kinn showered him with affection, he would turn shy. In a way, Kinn was the reason behind Porsche’s shyness and Kinn loved it.

Excerpt from my Hubby FF Chap 5

‘Hi my Dragon.’, Porsche whispered softly as he smiled at Kinn and Kinn’s heart melted as usual.

‘Hi my Phoenix.’, Kinn murmured back and gave a bright smile. He watched as Porsche’s expression turned sappy. Kinn would never get tired of that expression. Behind Porsche, he could see Porsche’s Bar, Phoenix Flame. Porsche must be still at work. But he would come soon. He still had time.

‘Aww!’, a third voice broke in making Kinn’s eyes wide. ‘You two are so adorable.’

‘Hello darling.’, Kinn murmured softly.

There was silence for another side and then came the response. ‘Darling! Who is darling? I am Porsche. Are you cheating on me? PEEEEEETE! Kinn is cheating on me!’

Kinn winced at Porsche’s loud volume and pulled the phone away from his ear. He huffed. ‘I am not cheating on you, Porsche. You are my darling.’

‘Nooooo! My name is not darling. You forgot your Porsche’s name? Vegaaaaaaaas! My Kinn forgot my name!’

Kinn winced and pulled the phone away again. ‘Fine. You are my Porsche. I am your Kinn. Happy?’

‘Very very happy.’, Porsche was slurring and his voice was loud.

Kinn chuckled. ‘You are drunk, aren’t you?’

There was a gasp on the other side. ‘How did you know? KINN! Do your guards spy on me? Do my guards spy on me? You don’t trust your husband! Macaaaaaaaaaau! Look! Kinn is spying on me!’

Excerpt from Chap 80 of BB FF

Few minutes later, Porsche rode the bike with Kinn behind him. The man seemed to be holding his shoulder. Porsche huffed and at a long stretch of the road, grabbed one hand on his shoulder and placed it on his waist. Kinn got the hint and put the other hand on his waist too. Porsche smiled, feeling all the worries and tensions bleed away from his body. There was something fun about just riding a bike on a long drive with someone as company! He felt Kinn lean ahead and then rest his chin on Porsche’s shoulder. Porsche’s eyes flickered to the mirror and he adjusted it to see Kinn’s face. He smiled at Kinn. Kinn smiled back. He adjusted the mirror back and focus on the road.

‘I like this.’, Kinn shouted into his ear. Porsche’s smile became wide. He shouted back. ‘Me too!’

And the duo soared across the road, feeling the wind in their ears and just enjoying the empty roads.

Macau was at best a nuisance and at worse, a menace. Macau, despite all the pettiness, still cared for Kinn. This Kinn knew, because since Macau was told about how he had endangered Kinn by not informing others about his arrival and later endangered Kim’s love life by trying to get Porsche and Kinn at odds, Macau had been horrified. Macau cared, although his actions did not show it as of now. Kinn blamed that on their fathers. Infact, he was surprised that Macau did not do worse when compared to how cruel Uncle Kan was! So no, Macau was not that scary.

Now Vegas, he was someone who could do worse. He had done worse at one point of their lives. There was a time when Vegas was filled with hatred and had aimed his gun at Kim when Minor family had laid siege on Major Family. The hatred, anger and anguish in Vegas’ eyes scared Kinn even now when he thought about it. He could not afford to loose Kim and that moment Kinn had almost lost him. Kinn was thankful that at that moment, Vegas gave up and walked away.

‘I came to ask for forgiveness.’

Porsche turned and glared at the younger man. ‘I want nothing to do with you or your Phi.’

Macau’s eyes widened. Porsche continued to work, setting up the bar for the night. Normally, it was bartender’s job. But today, he needed distraction, so he came to work early.

‘Don’t say that. My Phi would be left heartbroken!’

‘Macau!’, Porsche shouted. ‘Stop playing games. Your Phi has no feelings like that for me to be heartbroken. He is not in love with me!’

‘Love is not the only reason for heartbreaks.’, Macau cried out. ‘Even loss of friendship hurts. Phi liked you. He said you are a good man. Loosing your friendship hurts him.’

Excerpt from Chap 80 of BB FF

‘Porsche…. It is your freedom that I like the most about you. You call yourself Phoenix. Phoenix is most beautiful when it is flying in the sky! I don’t want to take that away from you ever!’

He shook his head and finally spoke in a softer voice, ‘I don’t want your life. I just want to be a part of your life. I just want you to be a part of …. Not my world. I would never ask that of you. My world will destroy you. But …. But I just want you to be a part of my life. Let our world be different and separated. Just give me few minutes of your life every once in a while. That’s all I ask.’

Kinn sighed. Unable to keep it to himself, he blurted out, ‘I thought I found a friend. Now I am tired that I have to fight again to get a friend back. I am tired of fighting people, Kim. Macau and our enemies are normal for me. I have fought enemies my whole life. And as far as Macau is concerned, he is nothing but nuisance. Vegas used to do worse and I have dealt with it. Minor family and Enemies creating trouble is usual bread and butter for me by now. But now alongside enemies and Minor family nuisance, I have to fight to win over a friend? I cannot!’

‘Then change the tactic!’, came the response.

Kinn straightened in his seat. ‘What?’

‘Weren’t you the ones who told me to flirt with Chay to win over him when I thought he rejected me? If you keep stalking Porsche and just wait for him to come to you and that strategy is not working, find another strategy. We are Mafia, Phi! Surely, you could find a way to make him come to you.’

Kinn narrowed his eyes. ‘I think I know what to do.’

Excerpt from Chap 80 of BB FF

Kinn waited for Porsche outside the bar and late in the night, the man came out. Kinn got out of the car but the moment, Porsche noticed him, he walked fast to his bike and within minutes, he was gone. Kinn watched him go and stepped back and leaned back on his car.

‘What should I do to make you meet me? What did I do that you are avoiding me?’ He swallowed and mumbled to himself. ‘Why does it hurt that you look away from me?’

‘NE KHUN!’, Porsche shouted.

Kinn stood up and smirked at the man. ‘Yes, Phoenix!’

‘AAARGH!’, Porsche roared and Kinn was amused. This was fun!

‘I thought you were a good guy!’, Porsche shouted, ‘I never expected you to be like this!’

Kinn shook his head and glared at Porsche. ‘I am good for good and bad for bad. You avoiding me is nothing but doing bad to me. All I want is to spend time with you. Did I do something bad to you? Did I mistreat you? Did I ruin your life?  Then why are you running away from me? I am good to you, so you took me for granted. So now I will be bad to you. You don’t come to me. I will make you come to me.’

Excerpt from Shrishti Reborn Chap 38.

Raghav smiled shyly. ‘I would like some tea.’

Arpit groaned. ‘Bro! You were addicted to books earlier. Now is tea your new addiction?’

Raghav huffed. ‘You are assuming that my addiction to books have faded.’

Now it was Arpit’s turn to huff. Shrishti was amused by the conversation and she was grinning just as Raghav turned and looked at her. ‘Want to come?’

Shrishti blinked. Uh oh. Her heart rate increased. But before she could think, her head was nodding.

‘Oh God! Another tea lover!’ Arpit groaned again. ‘Go. Drink your tea. Drown in your tea.’

He turned and walked away dragging Megha with him. Shrishti was amused by his antics.

Excerpt from Shrishti Reborn Chap 38.

Raghav chuckled at her reaction. ‘I just came to see if you need any help.’

‘Oh.’ Shrishti’s eyes lit up. ‘Carry my bags please.’

Raghav looked down at the hand that held more than five bags while other held the things she picked up to buy from the store and his jaw dropped open so comically that she broke down laughing.

‘I was just kidding.’

She tried to walk past him amused and shaking her head when suddenly, the bags were taken from her hand. She turned to see him nodding at her pleasantly. ‘Allow me.’

Her eyes widened and she nodded. He grabbed the bags and walk away. She turned and watched him walk away and swallowed. ‘What a sweet boyfriend!’, one of the sales lady chuckled behind her and Shrishti’s eyes widened more. She swallowed and walked away rapidly.
