I am, however, striving for consistency when it comes to character heights. Johnny is 6'5" and--depending on how lazy the nurse is when I get measured--I'm about 5'4" (which in metric is convert that shit yourself, you're on the goddamned internet).

My glasses might change shape and thickness throughout these comics. I'm not striving for consistency in these hiatus comic, just a crutch.

I didn't like the brush I used to indicate Johnny's exhalation in panel one, but I was playing around with brushes. These hiatus comics were drawn on the iPad Pro in the Procreate app. Takes some getting used to, but there's an advantage; the iPad is less unwieldy than the Wacom Cintiq I've been using for a few years. The downside is that I can't do text in Procreate, so I'll still use Clip Studio Paint for the speech bubbles. Because you certainly don't want to see my handwritten text in every comic for the next ten or so years.

But here's hoping that CELSYS will notice the flood of artists going to the iPad Pro and adapt their CSP software.
