                      Taking small note of the younger's surname, Tavish finally                            realizes why that accent of hers sounded so familiar. 'So                            she's of Irish descent, then?' It's been quite a while since                            he's met anyone from the UK, but hell, he's more than ha-                            ppy to know the first one he has met after so long is such                            a kind individual.

Lashes brushed against rosy cheeks as she blinked          once, and then again, honey-gold eyes staring out at the other           from  behind  the  thick,  convex  lenses  of her glasses. As he          spoke,  the  strawberry  blonde  found  herself  pondering  the            purpose  of  the  patch obscuring his left eye. It was clear that          the other was having a somewhat difficult time  accepting the            assertion that  she was, indeed, twenty years old;  what came          as  a  surprise to her,  though,  was  the  fact  that  he  wasn’t          attempting to argue against it. A capable young lady, huh? A          tiny smile began to tug at the corners of her mouth.                ❝  Ah— ! Me name’s Aislinn, Sir. Aislinn Gallagher. ❞

   ;◉ ——-     And yet, despite the younger's clear annoyance with                            his assumption (and boy, does she have every right to                            be annoyed), Tavish still finds himself questioning her                            facts. He's just... Never really met anyone so tiny at                            such an age. Even the Scout, bless his rabbit-like soul,                            was a little bit taller than average for someone of his age.                            For now, he simply rubs at his chin and gives a once-                            over to the younger with his one good eye.

Lithe arms folded over each other and the pallor of          their owner’s cheeks coloured liberally with splotches of scarlet          the heat rising beneath them as if someone had switched on a          furnace. It wasn’t always easy for Aislinn to reign in her temper.          She’d  certainly  had  more  than  enough  of  hearing that quip          about her height in particular, but aye, there was  the  clincher;          he hadn’t meant any harm. Lashing out at him wouldn’t be fair.           With a vexed, silent huff through her nose, the demure brunette           lowered her gaze, thin fingers digging into her elbows.                ❝  … M’sorry I snapped at ye, then. But jest so y’know, I’m twenty,          not  a  wee  lass  in  me  ferst  year  a’  secondary  school. ❞
