Activity check postponed
I was originally going to do an activity check yesterday, but it was brought to my attention that a lot of you are doing final exams! (I'm not in school anymore; you gotta remind me that these things exist) so I'll let it ride until the 20th. Participants in the cup will have their interaction in the cup count as activity. The cup starts officially in about ten hours, so be ready!

Champion's Cup Round 1
In order to weed out the weak of heart so that we can determine the true champion, round one will be simple and to the point: survival of the fittest! Each competitor has been randomly assigned an opponent from the list. Since the competition isn't favoring either elves or humans, (and while we encourage the rivalry, we don't differentiate between alliances) you may be fighting someone from your own allegiance. Remember that this is a friendly competition, (unless you don't want it to be, in which case then by all means) so no hard feelings! Match-ups: Team 1: Wendy vs Damien Team 2: Kenny vs Stan Team 3: Butters vs Token
Feel free to message your opponent to engage in any plotting, shit-talking, or neener-neenering. Low Down: Because this is a roleplay, there's no real objective way for us to determine a winner by just asking you to fight. Obviously everyone would write that their character wins and then that would just sort of defeat the point. So the aim of the game is survival. Each pairing will be released into the Lost Forest in three separate areas that are roughly one square mile in size. Each area is marked off with different colored cloth: Team 1 is red, Team 2 is blue, Team 3 is yellow. Each competitor will wear a strip of cloth of this color somewhere on their person. (it must be over the armor and accessible) There are any number of deadly plants, beasties, meanies, and other things in this patch of forest, as well as, obviously, your opponent. You have one hour (two weeks real time) to find your opponent, claim his colors by any means necessary, and return from the forest.
Rules: You cannot kill your opponent (not even Kenny) You may use weapons that are not your own. You may not receive assistance from non-competitors unless it was roleplayed beforehand. You may not describe your character as flat-out dealing a winning blow. All attacks must be left open enough for the other character to determine whether or not it hits them. BE FAIR. General rule: dodge twice, hit once. Use your abilities within reason. Magic users and physical attackers remember that your character can be hurt and sometimes incapable of using their abilities, and remember you might not always need brute strength. Be clever. You may repeatedly reengage in combat to attempt to retrieve colors that have been taken from you. You may claim a color from a team you are not on. ex: Wendy who is red can claim Butters who is yellow, though they are in separate areas. A character who does this disqualifies both competitors of that color. In the above example, Wendy claiming Butter's colors would disqualify both Butters and Token, even if Damien took Wendy's colors. You may only cross over into another character's area if your colors have been taken. You must take someone else's colors to remain. You may not leave the forest with only your own colors. Cheating is encouraged. If there are roleplays that are unfinished (especially in the middle of combat) then effort throughout the published roleplay will be valued for the win. Remember to make things interesting, throw in your own obstacles, NPC fights, monster encounters, injuries, dismay, accidents, anything you like. This is your story guys; don't worry so much about winning, worry about making it fun. If you wind up tied with someone else who didn't finish, you might still pull off a win just because you pulled off more effort than the other guy. There is a possibility of disqualification if you try to wrap up a roleplay too fast, (basically if you're just like "he found his opponent and beat him up and took his colors" in like one paragraph) or if you attempt to godmod. (never allowing your character to be hit, making your character impossibly strong, etc)
To the Grand Wizard and High Elf:
Not much for you this round, sorry! However, (and feel free to roleplay this if it please you): Take a bet on which three competitors you expect will make it through this round. If you predict correctly, you can choose to grant immunity to a disqualified competitor of your house, allowing four entrants to survive the round instead of three. If there are no disqualified members of your house, you may instead choose one champion to begin the next round with an advantage.  The round will begin on May 12 and will end on May 28th. All preparation and assistance from other players must be roleplayed before the start date. Characters may not use weapons/items acquired after this start date.
Extensions will be granted if a roleplay can be wrapped up within a few days after the final date.
And as always, have fun!

We have 5 entrants so far for the cup, meaning there's only room for one more! If you're on the fence about jumping in, now is definitely the time! (For the record the mods aren't joining and Kyle and Cartman can't, so don't be shy! We probably really need you) Other notes: New members, if you want to join our Skype chat room, just message the group your information and I'll add you. It's usually just a lot of nonsense chatting and stuff. Don't forget to add a page to your blog detailing your character's abilities and stuff, especially if you're in the cup. The next activity check will be May 10th. Ty!

Wendy Testaburger has been accepted!
Congrats on the acception Maddy, cool backstory! Please submit your Wendy Blog within 48 hours and then feel free to do an introduction post.
Born and raised in a tribe of nomadic elven druids, Wendy’s early years were spent getting in tough with the world around her and developing a deep understanding of it, whether it be flora, fauna, or climate. As such, she took it as a deep offence seeing how many settlements of humans abused the land they had claimed as their own, along with the animals which had once resided there.
At the age of fifteen her tribe was attacked by a group of humans, claiming that the druids were trying to steal their land from them. They were outnumbered, and only a small fraction managed to escape and seek shelter with the Drow elves of Larnion.
She’s taken in by the court and becomes acquainted with the heir to the kingdom, and his loyal knight in training.
As the years pass she asserts  herself and proves her worth on various councils and manages to earn the title of lady in waiting along with the nickname ‘The Green Lady’ due to her affinity for plants and nature.
Wendy is decently tall for an elf, with long, dark hair that often has flowers and all sorts of totems braided into it. Her skin is tanned from a life living in the wilds. She dresses practically for the most part, tunics and leggings, though she does prefer to go bare foot, but she will wear short boots when necessary. Not to say she doesn’t enjoy the long, flowing, elaborate gowns that are all the rage with the high born ladies.
Skill set includes healing, able to identify and utilise all sorts of plants and fungi, along with a rare ability among druids, the elemental shift. With this ability Wendy channels the power around and within her to transform herself into a plant-like being. Though this form does have it’s benefits, it does take it’s toll if she stays in it for too long.
Though not as friendly towards humans as she is other elves, she is always ready to give the benefit of the doubt, as Stan Marshwalker has proven to her that humans can be considerate of the world and lives around them. Despite the fact that she has sworn loyalty to King Kyle doesn’t mean they don’t butt heads on occasion.
Personality:    Has a very black and white view of the world for the most part, but recently has began to see that there are shades of grey inbetween. Highly opinionated and will not back down if something appears to be unjust. Has a soft spot for animals and a certain knight. Always keen to learn more. RP Sample [1 good sized paragraph minimum]:
She needed to get away. Put some distance between her and that loud, rambunctious group she’d been travelling with for what feels like a full moon cycle but couldn’t have been more than a week. She just needed to get away, go somewhere quiet, somewhere she could reconnect and recollect herself.
This place would do, Wendy thinks to herself as she takes in the wooded grove she’s stepped into. Moonlight filters faintly through the dense canopy above her giving the small clearing a sense of serenity. This place would do just fine.
Settling down on the soft, green grass, Wendy closes her eyes, breaths in, and lets her senses expand.
She can feel the pull and push of the breeze from the drastic movements of the leaves at the very tops of the ancient trees surrounding her, to the more gentle, barely a whisper against the worn and weather trunks that have stood in place for centuries and would hopefully still be standing centuries after.
She felt the tension slip from her, a new calm settling in as she drank from the earth beneath her with the roots of the grass, and moss, and trees, and,..
Well, that was a surprise.
Slowly bringing herself back together, Wendy blinks slowly before pushing herself up and over to the dense bushes bordering the clearing. Gently moving the branches out of the way she sees it, three small, silver blossoms.
This sin’t the season or place for Moonflowers, Wendy muses to herself, before brushing her fingers across the delicate petals. At her touch they seem to glow bright, opening up more to reveal the deep blue stamen within.
'You guys are going to do just fine.' Wendy whispers before standing at her full height. Brushing down her long tunic, she wonders how late it's gotten. Deciding that her disappearance has probably been noticed by now, she turns back the way she came.

Character Bio [As detailed as possible! You may want to include: appearance, home life (you could make up a village name), skill/experience, likes/dislikes, relationships]: Their relationship was forbidden. An elf and a human could never be together they said, and so his parents were banished from both their kingdoms to live in one of the smaller outlaying villages away from the protection of the trees and the high stone walls respectively. Chris’ parents knew this was the inevitable, but continued to live out their happy lives anyways. Not long after their banishment Chris became their light of hope in their slowly shrinking grasp. He constantly took to his father, listening to what stories he had to share about the forest, the mist that hung in the heavy air, the moss that clung to the tree bark. To him it was the place of dreams and he wished to be there one day. However being a halfling had it’s disadvantages, as the other elven children mocked his heritage and yanked on his almost non existent pointy ears. Once, he tried to cut his ears so then they would be even pointier, but his mother stopped him.
The village Chris lived in was constantly prone to bandit attacks, and his father started up a small resistance in the town so then the damages wouldn’t be as severe. It worked, and for a while the bandit attacks seemed like a distant memory. Like a nightmare that was vanquished by the dreamer. Like all things, good things must come to an end, and so they did. One night, when the village was celebrating the summer solstice, a bandit clan tripled by two others came out of the dark and caught everybody off guard. Chaos spread throughout the ranks and Chris’ mother quickly took him indoors and hid him in the storage bin, telling him not to leave until she came back for him. As he waited for her to return, he fell asleep and didn’t wake up until the following morning. The sounds of screaming and children crying were no longer heard, only dead silence. Curious, he pulled himself out of hiding and went outside to see if he could find his parents. The village had almost been burned to the ground, and there were bodies everywhere. Terrified he quickened his pace, only to be stopped by one of the older villagers to deliver the news. If the children and most of the elders weren’t hiding, they would’ve been killed as well, last night was a complete bloodbath for revenge. Chris was crushed and was swept to tears. As he cried one of the older kids cried out “It’s the halfling’s fault! If his stupid dad hadn’t started that resistance none of this would’ve happened!”
In a fit of rage he punched the child as hard as he could, the others circling around them to keep on fighting, the elders trying to break them apart. Chris managed to get some good right hooks in before they were finally separated, bleeding from his broken nose and busted lip, not to mention that black eye looked pretty bad. “Get the hell away from this place you freak!” The child yelled at him as he ran away, “Nobody wants you here anymore!” And so he did, the pictures of the forest his father so vividly painted for him flashing through his mind. He didn’t stop running until the forests became tangled with each other and all sunlight was blocked out. Out of breath, tired and hungry he passed out on the ground. The next thing he knew he was near a warm rumbling fire and the shadow of somebody could be seen not far away. The stranger introduced himself as King Broflovski, and explained he had a son around the same age as Chris was. He offered Chris something to eat and asked why a child was this deep in the forest, and where his parents were. Of course, bringing up the matter of his parents was enough to get him to cry all over again and could only say that they were killed, never letting him know about what exactly happened. Feeling sympathetic for the young Chris, he offered him food, shelter and a place in his kingdom.
True to his word the king gave him what he wanted. Everything was starting to look up. He met the king’s son, Kyle and his best friend Stan, and the three became fast friends. They constantly played together, Chris always advising what Kyle should do next when playing with other groups of children. Although his advice wasn’t always the best, sometimes it went over quite swimmingly. As they grew older, Chris promised he would do his best to become the royal advisor when he finally became king.
Chris has short curly blonde hair and emerald green eyes and wears a green shirt, with three belts, two slung over his shoulders and the third around his waist decorated with a bronze buckle. His pants are a dark green color, and wears dark brown boots. He drapes around his neck a brown cape, the hood is usually down but is worn up when he is riding. On the left hand side is a golden pin in the shape of a leaf, it is the only memento from his parents that he received on his third birthday.
Personality: Despite being half human himself, Chris does not trust humans one little bit. They killed his parents and took away the only happiness he knew. He can be seen as cold hearted, cruel and ignorant when he is exactly the opposite. When someone threatens him or someone close to him he can become agitated and attacks first then asks questions later. Chris is also extremely loyal to those whom he is close to. In periods of extreme stress he tends to pull at his hair, sometimes pulling out his hair but that barely happens. He doesn’t let anybody see him cry, thinking it’s a sign of weakness.
RP Sample [1 good sized paragraph minimum]: Another beautiful day on god’s green earth. He was rather thankful for this, the fountain of insight predicted rainy days to come. Chris was a never fan of the rain, it made him look like a cat out of water according to the younger recruits. Since when did respect your superiors become a thing of the past. Then again, he was incline to agree with them. As long as the sun shone in the sky above he was happy as a clam. Rain, snow or overcast put him in a displeasing mood, and he was prone to stay indoors rather than be outside. His feet latched onto the bottom rung and he began to climb the rope ladder up to one of the tallest trees in the forest, these were used as lookouts to watch out for incoming humans or who knows what. While on the ground you couldn’t see up on top anyways, on the other hand you could see forever. Not to mention it wasn’t a shabby view either.
“Good morning.” Chris whispered as he noticed the elven guard, who gave him a small nod in return. In fear that the humans would hear them somehow, they were restricted to keep their voices down low while up here. Just a safety precaution thrown to the wind. “Anything happen this morning?” The elf replied with a no, and explained that he did receive a carrier raven this morning addressed to the king from Princess Kenny. Why would the princess be interested in conversing with Kyle? It wasn’t his business however, and made a mental note to stop by the throne room when he went back down. For now he was going to relax for a moment and enjoy the sunrise. People called him crazy for waking up in the early morning when he could still be in bed, but Chris didn’t mind. This was one thing that he enjoyed about being here.
