here's a fun interaction for you. so over dinner my dad asks me why my face is kinda red. now it's not like full on blush or heatstroke sort of red, it's just kind of flushed or maybe irritated.
it's been pretty warm the last couple of days and i was also outside for a while today, so it's reasonable that my dad asks that. i also have a pretty bad history of getting heatstroke in only mildly warm weather. so that's valid.
anyway, he asks if it's a sunburn or something. i'm like, nah, i know what's going on. i already noticed it yesterday. so my natural explanation is that "oh no it's because i kept my makeup on for like, thirteen hours yesterday"
now i am a broke ass bitch and most of my makeup (the direct foundations and stuff that go on my face anyway) are from my mother. which means, it is quite old. like this is from an era where my mom picked chanel foundation because she heard somewhere that it contained the least lead. so there's that.
of course my face is going to want to break out after thirteen hours of that, especially when the weather's been alternating between stupidly humid, very warm, and cold ass rain. gotta love the northeast!
also doesn't help that besides having a concert yesterday, we got home maybe five hours later than we could have because my parents found some friends and stood around chatting for forever. oopsies, got sidetracked or whatever. and then add stage lights into that and i think you've got a nice recipe for OH FUCK MY SKIN HATES ME NOW. (i also have eczema, so my skin hates me on a normal basis anyway)
moral of the story: do not let your parents talk for forever; drag them DIRECTLY home after a concert
pleaseee i have no intention of using this number and i hope I'll never have to but if spreading this can help one lonely person out there i will not hesitate to
