Shopping in Stellar
There’s really quite a bit of variety when it comes to shopping in Stellar. The town square offers a variety of shops ranging from your basic groceries to luxury goods. Here are a few of the shops..
While the Emerald Lodge offers the most luxurious accommodations and impeccable service, the Blackberry Bar is a fun and warm place to grab a drink, catch up with friends or to find a girl! They offer many adult beverages, as well as some suppers and snacks. They have modest accommodation as well.
The Tulip House offers clothing and fashion items of all kinds! They employ 2 tailors, a cobbler, a dressmaker, 2 spinners, a weaver, and 2 shop assistants to ensure you find whatever you need.
The florist, Saldur is married to the mapmaker, Delphinia, and they own a shop together: Botanical Cartographie
The Simonet’s have a jewelry shop, Shades of Green, where they employ a master stonecutter and a shop assistant. Not only do they offer the finest emeralds, but also precious metals and gemstones. They sell rings, necklaces, tiaras, bracelets, amulets, and other jewelry items.

Villagers Pt. 1
Stellar is home to many different people who all play an important role to the livelihood of the village. These posts will introduce us to different people of varying levels of fame, skill, age and more.
1. Marigold Drake
Marigold Drake is a 26 year old human. She has dark brown eyes and shoulder-length yellow hair. She has freckles and has a slight build.
Due to her parents and younger brother being killed in an mugging, she has no family and is wary of meeting new people, except for children. She is very compassionate and loving towards the orphans in her care but has disdain for many adults.
She is single, enjoys gardening, and her favorite drink is whiskey.
2. Roxana Falla
Roxana Falla is a 40 year old human. She has dark hair and blue eyes.
She is the daughter of Daniel Simonet, the owner of the local emerald mine and is therefore part of a powerful family and has a lot of money. She is married to Marcus Falla who was a successful trader from a distant city. They have two children, Emmelina (15) and Camellia (8).
She is quick-thinking, enjoys socializing and does not often drink.
3. Cora Goodsong
Cora Goodsong is a 30 year old halfling. She has sandy brown hair and dark eyes. She has ruddy pink cheeks and is quite short.
Cora was born and raised in Stellar and likes it too much to leave. Her family used to own a tavern in another town but decided to move to Stellar 33 years ago to start and raise a family. She is dating another halfling, Garret Teabarrel.

The Emerald Lodge
From the outside, it looks warm and cozy yet classy still. Dark grey stone and logs make up the inn’s outer structure. The stained glass windows make it difficult to see what is inside but that also ensures privacy for its patrons.
As you enter the lodge through the heavy wooden door, you are greeted by a softly lit seating area. Wooden beams, wrapped with ribbons support the upper floor where accommodations are located. Behind this lounge is the main bar where the friendly and professional barmaids and barkeeps make sure you are taken care of. There are a few barstools but there are also plush sofas and chairs if you would like a nicer place to gather. There are long tables with silky, emerald table runners and candles.
The inn itself can get comfortably busy but the owner takes care to make sure there is never rowdiness. This is a gathering place for many wealthy locals but passing nobility and rich traders favor this inn as well.

Accommodations
Noble (2)
Noble accommodations feature a private room with one large bed, hot water on request and a private chamber pot. The room is lit by a subtle chandelier and carefully placed sconces. The bed is covered with an ivory bedspread with gold stitching and lots of fluffy pillows. Curtains and adornments are dark green with gold embellishments. A complimentary bottle of wine and a bowl of seasonal fruit is offered as well as 2 tickets for supper.

Good accommodations feature a small private room with one large bed. Simple, pine-colored curtains keep out the drafts and the bedlinen are simple, yet warm and comfortable. The room is lit by two sconces, one above the bed, and one by the door. There are scarlet rugs covering the dark wood floors. 2 tickets for supper are offered.
Common (8)
Common accommodations feature dormitory style lodging. There are 8 small beds lined up in the basement. There is a fireplace at the end of the room and a pillow and blanket are provided. Though it is located in the basement, small candles and the fireplace keep the room warm and comfortably lit. 1 ticket for supper is offered.

Owner
Xavier Roleth is a 45 year old half-elf. He has violet eyes and a soft beard. He is 5′8 and of average build. He is single but his relationship with staff and patrons does not further than friendly flirting.
Barmaids
Holly Flynn is a 24 year old human. She has dirty blonde hair and light eyes. She has smooth, fair skin and a thin build. She tends to wear dangly earrings and can be a bit curt at times.
Cora Goodsong is a 30 year old halfling. She has sandy brown hair and dark eyes. She has ruddy pink cheeks and is quite short. She wears a flower behind her ears and is quite generous with drinks.
Anine Eleninith is a 189 year old High Elf. She has silvery-blonde hair and has green eyes. She has pale skin and is tall and slim. She is very graceful and poised and quite stunning.
Cooks
Francis and Gavin Ash are twin humans and are 21 years old. They have tan skin and dark, curly hair. They are friendly and will banter with the barmaids and patrons but know when to stop.

Welcome to Stellar
Nestled in the Verne Mountain range sits the village of Stellar. The Equinox river flows off a mountainside into a magnificent waterfall behind the Simonet chateau.
This hamlet wasn't built by a canal by accident, as it has escape routes, which is of great importance to the people of Deathfall and its success.
The village itself looks stunning. With its spruce wood rooftops, mahogany wood walls and special care taken to gardens and flowers, Stellar has a serene atmosphere.
Stellar has a healthy economy, which is mainly supported by artisan shops and the emerald mine. But their biggest strengths are elaborate crafting and jewelry making.
However, Stellar lacks people skilled in hunting. That is not usually a problem, as the town is strictly vegetarian.
Despite its strengths and weaknesses, Stellar continues to be the ideal place to live for current and future artisans, artists and miners due to the quiet state of life, support for artists and the breathtaking natural beauty.
