HC 01 : THE NORTH SEA ALLIANCE in YR 3 , the panic of the great mistake hit it’s peak . in the chaos , the countries of northern europe came together to form a single federation , with each former geographical area serving as a province . these provinces consisted of scandinavia , the british isles , the baltic states , the faroe islands , finland , iceland , belgium , and the netherlands . amsterdam served as the federal capital where the alliance’s elected councilors would gather .
however , the rising tides quickly reshaped the coastlines and by YR 35 , belgium , denmark , latvia , lithuania , and the netherlands were almost entirely submerged . during the sinking of these provinces , the alliance realized that relocation was urgently needed .
after much debate , the councilors of the north sea alliance voted to evacuate the remaining population , relocating them to a new capital . located near the old mountain route sognefjellsvegen , north of hurrungane in norway , they built the city of bredt øye . norwegian for wide - eye , the city was established in YR 38 and represented a new future for the alliance .
