I’m becoming a TomMatt truther HELP where do I start !!
So I love to imagine they’re in a two-person band: Tom’s the bassist, Matt’s the guitarist. They have their other friends help out with the other instrumental parts, but these two are mainly the face of their band. :) They’ve been at it since high school! Their band’s name is ?? Something along the lines of both of them being creatures and half-human?? Smth about being freaks since high school? slash pos. idk what the band name is LMAO
Dave Brubeck by Vacations has been the prime song I associated with these two. <3 I’m a nerd for instrumentals, and the fact the guitar and bass complement each other so well in the song? I have the instrumental autism guys. I kept imagining these two playing together and I probably kicked my feet in the air.

i hate it when matt is just overly babied and portrayed as a "smol innocent bean 🥺". he can act childish at times but he's still an adult and he can be just as wild as the others
im not a fan of when edd is portrayed purely as the "responsible parent." yes he can keep the others in check, but he can be super annoying and also chaotic if he wants to, i don't see him being the extremely uptight responsible one at all
also tom's personality traits are def more than just "cynical alcoholic guy". HES SILLY GUYS PLEASE LET HIM BE SILLY!!!!! LET THE MAN SMILE HE'S NOT ALWAYS ANGRY AND DEPRESSED 24/7
also classic tord is how i will always see tord. im not a huge fan of legacy tord personally (i think he's just a bitch tbh but thats just me LMAO) but classic tord >>> legacy tord. i miss him being just a silly guy

💚: What does everyone else get wrong about your favorite character?
Not to sound bitter, but that wrong idea from the fandom that I just can't wrap my head around is that Matt (my fave) is this squeaky clean saint who never swears? While Tom (or Tord) curses, while Edd is all about "Language!". Come on now, can't we just let the boys say a dick joke every now and then?

I'm kinda on the fence right now (I was going to mention Edd and Jon, but if I start explaining why, I'll end up with a whole list XD). It seems to me that Tom is one of the most misunderstood characters.
Sure, he may come off as rude but I feel like the fandom has exaggerated these traits ( especially in the legacy era ). But in my point of view, Tom has his moments of stupidity and humor just like the rest of the gang. He can crack a smile sometimes!
