they're supportive, of course. depending on your f/o's personality maybe you'll get a nonchalant yet still affectionate "okay, and?" or maybe theyll give you a rib-crushing hug. regardless, you feel more than relieved.
perhaps they offer you words of comfort and reassurance, more than willing to remind you that this new information doesn't change how they feel about you. maybe your f/o offers to help pay for any surgeries, hormone therapy, name changes, etc that you may want. depending on your situation they'll happily deal with anyone who purposefully misgenders you or they'll keep it on the down low.
maybe your f/o is trans too! you two could talk abt what it was like transitioning or your goals. maybe you prefer not to discuss it much and it's just a new bit of information you have about each other now.
