Monroe places a pice of ice on Iori's back, moving it all around until he slips it over her shoulder, letting it fall onto her chest. Then he does the same for the other side. "Having a wardrobe of all black sucks."
“Wh-what does that have to do with anything?!” Iori squirms and whines, not expecting the sudden ice cube on her bare skin.

It’s supposedly at random who gets it, but there’s a gene in Iori’s dad’s side of the family that basically extends the person’s lifespan by nearly double, possibly more. Nobody knows how or why this gene exists, and it’s not really apparent who has it until they reach about fifty years old and still look like a teenager.
obvious-ish spoiler; Iori has this gene, as well as one other person/character who has yet to be introduced. The gene has been dubbed as “The Lion’s Reign”.
