Libber from Ninjago is not Jay's bio mom. She has never been Jay's bio mom, and should never become Jay's bio mom. Nothing against women who give their children up for adoption, but Jay has been not adopted for 10+ years. We all grew up with Ed and Edna why would we let them change Jay's family structure for absolutely no reason? The new writer should just create a new character who is her bio son, not rewrite one of the best Lego characters in history. Ok, so I watched the Lego Ninjago Movie yesterday and kinda forgot to mention it.

That was a pretty fun watch. I really like things that are basically a different take on a previously told story.

Did it have flaws? Yeah. But it was fun regardless.

I knew it was part of that period of time by warner bros to make lego movies so it was bound to have the kinda humor and storytelling techniques of the other lego movies that company had made and The Lego Movie is to this day one of my favorite animated films so I had a feeling I was gonna enjoy it regardless of what changed from the original Ninjago show.

Also, fun fact. I'm 90% sure I was debating on seeing this movie back when it came out because I was going to the movies with my friends as a little late birthday celebration.

I can't help but wonder if I would've watched the show sooner had I told my friends "we're no longer watching ballerinas we're watching legos" that day. (for anyone curious the movie we saw was Leap)

If anyone in this fandom disliked the movie that's perfectly fine. It's not for everyone and I respect that.
