turning 34 this year and getting really emotional about all the people i met at 23 when i first joined this stupid site ten years ago. 95% of them i still keep in touch with, consider a close friend and still write with.

oh, look. another thing i'm literally months late in replying to. I'm kind of glad I've waited though because, in addition to it being such a wonderful thing to scroll past while I was hoarding it, now I get to congratulate you on your new job !! I know you haven't been around a lot lately (the pics of duke are acceptable apologies, i'll give you that), but I hope next time you jump on for a bit that you get to see this reminder of how loved and appreciated you are. I told you around a year ago that you sharing your experience when you were going through it™ was so inspirational. Without airing too much of my own specifics on the dash, I want you to know that I found a strength in it that I never thought possible. You are such an inspiration and I have loved every single second of knowing you (i think it's been years at this point, omg) and rapunzel and lucas will always hold a special place in my heart, no matter how slow we both are at this whole writing thing. sasha this is so wild of me to just now be responding when this was literally from like september or october i think (if not before), but I want you to know that my motivation has been in the absolute tank and it's been this message (along with many other things from friends) that has kept me going. I've been holding on to it because the words were just not wording and scrolling past it when i was in my inbox was always such a pleasant surprise. You are one of my favorite people on this site - genuine, passionate about your characters, extremely talented and one of the kindest souls I've ever met. I know we lost track of one another for a bit (sort of?? maybe?? a better phrasing might be kept missing each other for a bit) because of how busy things have been and this time of year always seems like it scatters my brain to the four winds, but I hope you know that I have never stopped thinking of you and hoping you were well. Some of my best memories from this hellhole are thanks to you (both in character stuff and out) and I am so glad you are still sticking tumblr out. i think you're on @vekovoysoldat right now, so .. hi sasha!! i love you !! thank you for this.
