“Aro, what’s wrong? What’s happening?” Link asked urgently.
“I can’t explain here. Meet me… meet me at the temple…”
“Aro, you’re scaring me!” Link pleaded, not even bothering to hide the desperation in his voice.
“Go… temple… there… I will… be waiting…” Aro sighed, and suddenly he was surrounded by green flames, vanishing into the afternoon light.

I want to reiterate that I greatly enjoyed the anime but were absolutely robbed of David becoming a construct for a handful of reasons, most of which boiling down to:
David and Johnny vibing in Mikoshi together for a year so they could bond over the fact that they both assaulted Arasaka Tower in an attempt to save their netrunner girlfriends and got absolutely wrecked by Adam Smasher for their troubles.
David meeting V at some point after the Temperance ending and being utterly flabbergasted that they managed to take down Smasher with significantly less cyberware than he was packing and made it look like a walk in the goddang park.
