New York rain is a different kind of hell. Peter crouches on top of one of the shorter buildings on the outskirts of the city, observing the alleyway down below him. He hates rain. He didn’t used to, he used to find it beautiful– always choosing to stay out a little longer and let it soak his hoodie, or see the reflections of the street lights on the soaked pavement.
But then May died. And that night all he could think as he watched Jameson rub dirt all over his name was how heart wrenchingly sad the rain is. It makes him nauseous with grief.

Oh ok. Childhood memory unlocked.
When i was a little kid, i had a "4d puzzle" of new york city.
You built the cardboard jigsaw base, then the foam island, and then you had plastic buildings and bridges.
And it had instructions to place the buildings in chronological order, as well as a timeline, hence "4d".
And i just fucking remembered. In 2001 on the timeline a step was "remove buildings #xx and #xy (World Trade Centers)" with no other explanation.
And as a kid i had no clue what that meant, but looking back on it my puzzle really just told me "alright kid, do a 9/11" and i, age 5, went along with it.

Harley is a touring photographer for a band that Peter is in.
Peter plays the keyboard tends to stay in the background of the shows. Harley notices how reserved Peter is and starts taking more pictures of him at each show.
Harley is determined to get Peter out of his shell and allow him to have more fun. Harley will crack jokes or compliment Peter before he snaps a picture and Harley thinks Peter looks perfect in every picture.
Peter always keeps track of where Harley is. Whether he’s in the wings, the back of the crowd, or even right on stage in front of him. Peter looks forward to seeing Harley.
Each show, due to Harley’s consistency, Peter gradually loosens up and begins putting himself out there and having more fun on stage.
Everyone notices that Peter relaxes when Harley is there— his band members and fans.
At the last show of their tour, Harley reveals to Peter that he’s an artist himself and going on tour next fall. Peter also mentions that he’s a photographer and shows Harley his work.
It’s decided that Peter will photograph Harley on his tour and the two end up together and make music together.
The band and fans aren’t even slightly surprised.
