so did you meet the other heroes? what was it like? anybody you're a little wary of?
We have met them! We’re traveling with them right now.
Wind is pretty cool!! He lives by the ocean like I do, it’s nice to talk to someone who loves it as much as me.
I’m not sure how I feel about Time. He gives me the same kind of vibes as the village elders back home — he’s definitely a good leader but I can tell he’s got secrets.
Twilight is fun to hang out with. They all seem nice, to be honest, but that doesn’t mean I trust them.

sigh Fine. The elephant in the room is sitting over there and his name is Wild. We don’t know exactly what’s going on with him but he looks and sounds exactly like me but with longer hair. I really don’t like that.

for remembrance: is it frustrating being a ghost?
Yeah, sometimes. I hate not being able to touch things most of the time. I can’t help Spirit when he’s being beat up by monsters either, and it doesn’t help that stalmonsters practically flock to me
It’s nice being able to go through walls though, and I can be pretty intimidating when I need to. That’s definitely saved our asses more than once.

Hey Spirit, where are you from? Do you have a family?
I’m from Lurelin Village, down in Faron! It’s a fishing village, and it’s pretty tiny, but it’s home!
As for family — I’ve got an older sister, her name’s Aryll! She’s.... probably a better fighter than me, at least with swords. I’m much more comfortable with a spear.
We don’t know who our parents were, and if any of the elders know they haven’t told us. The whole village pitched in to help raise us when we were kids, but now we’re more or less independent.

Is there a particular reason you guys are stuck together?
My soul is tied to the master sword, so where it goes, I go. And since he’s got it at the moment, I’m stuck with him. It’s not too bad, though. I like him

We’re not sure who bound me to the sword, cause according to Spirit it’s possible to do if you’re good enough at magic but it’s incredibly taboo. It happened to the champions too, though we’re pretty sure that was Ganon’s fault.

Yeah, that’s fair. Personally, I try to avoid the Gerudo Desert as much as I can. I’m from Faron, I’m not used to being somewhere that dry. No thanks.

May I ask about the cultures of this era?
That’s pretty broad, but I mean the biggest thing is probably all the ghosts running around
Ghosts don’t run. They float
Shut up, you know what I mean. Anyway, yeah. Respecting the dead is a pretty big thing here no matter who you are. A lot of people have a ghost or two following them around, it’s pretty common. Especially with the Calamity.
....
We’ve been over this Remy, it wasn’t your fault.
Anyway, I dunno how it was before ghosts were a thing, but when someone dies it’s not really a sad occasion. It’s not the end, they’re just moving on to a different stage in life, yknow? Even if they don’t stay a ghost for long. Everyone gets a bit more time.

What happened?? Why did Spirit have to run across Hyrule?
Because someone is apparently tied to the Master Sword and goes where it goes which is all well and good until it gets teleported across Hyrule because some other heroes decided to show up.
How was I supposed to know???? Still can’t get over the whole “heroes from other times” thing. It’s weird.
Dude, you’re a hero from another time. You’re a hundred years old.
Yeah but I’m dead. That doesn’t count. They’re still alive. It’s weird.
