One head-canon I've always had about Spider-Verse ATS...
Intro:
It comes from my only "dislike" - cause it's not a big deal - about the movie. Which is the weird idea that every Spider-Person is on board with the plan to let canon events take place.
Granted, the assurance that the Universe is dying because of it is quite the deterrent, however many agree it is the only thing that feels "off" for the characters.
I'm absolutely on board with the idea that Miles can remind everyone what's up, and I'd love that for him, but that still doesn't answer how everyone got there.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone already said this, but I didn't look, soooooo it is technically an original thought of mine... That I've had since the movie came out but never shared, so better late than never I guess.
- Actual Theory:
I think that the Spider Society recruits are all fresh after a big canon event - or maybe most are - probably not on purpose, but it has indirectly helped the cause and reduced resistance after the exposition dumb about their multiverse.

Gwen was recruited after one, and although it wasn't through a malicious way, it technically did happen to line up.
Spectacular Spider-Man, who for many is a perfect Spidey, also shares the Society's goals, which as seen in lots of fan art, sits oddly with people. What if he also just went through a Canon Event?
Peter B. Parker being an older more experienced Spidey could simply agree out of weariness, but I don't disregard the possibility of something happening to him either.
When Miles insists that Spider-Man always does both and Peter replies with "not always", I could see it also come from a recent scar, even if the scene is clearly referring to his monumental existing experiences.
"If it wasn't for Uncle Ben most of us wouldn't be here".
Maybe so, but that just sounds like an excuse at that point. One than in most Spider media would be pointed out, even if the statement is correct and valid.
- Counter Argument:
I don't think having this confirmed is necessary for the story, especially given that on its own, it's already a good exploration of grief and pain persisting even after the immediate shock has passed. As well as a lovely challenge to the Spider-Mythos.
They deal with monumental amounts of trauma, it's okay if they feel comfort in understanding a shared pain and even in the idea that by - in this case - inaction, the sacrifice of one cop, one father figure, one uncle, one aunt, one friend, one lover... Is vital to the safety of a whole Universe.
Now that makes their deaths feel like they weren't for nothing huh?

I know most of the Spider-Verse fandom is pretty much dead now, but let me talk about how this is literally the best movie I've ever seen in my life??? It is perfect in just every way! The animation, story, character characterization, character development, plot, soundtrack and much more! I remember that when I saw the film for the first time in the cinema my brain was so overwhelmed by this film that I cried because I couldn't express my feelings and I involuntarily started crying just because I loved the film (my parents were even worried about me lol). And I could spend HOURS just talking about it and the smallest details of the film, I just love it so much that it seems unreal!

My Favorite Things about Miles and Gwen
I’ve seen so many people hating on the Miles x Gwen ship…
So I’m making a list of my favorite things about it 🤪
Reason #1: They both have a deep, shared understanding of being superheroes as teenagers.
Reason #2: They both respect each other as heroes and acknowledge each other’s talent and ability.
Reason #3: Their talk at the Williamsburg Bank Building.
Reason #4: They get jealous of each other when they show interest in anyone else.
Reason #5: They make each other smile and love talking to each other: “It’s always so great to talk to you.”
Reason #6: They both relate to having rocky relationships with their dads and can talk to each other about it.
Reason #7: Miles was Gwen’s first friend since Peter. Gwen was Miles’ first friend at Visions.
Reason #8: The obvious spidey sense connection they have with each other, especially on Gwen’s part. Clearly the universe wants them together.
Reason #7: The little things they have to remember each other (Polaroid / Sketches).
Reason #8: How easy conversation becomes for they when they become friends.
Reason #9: Gwen goes to visit him when she isn’t supposed to.
Reason #10: Gwen in Miles’ jacket. That’s it.
Reason #11: Sharing a plate of food together 🥹
Reason #12: They are both characters that defy the norms of who Spider-Man is !!
Reason #13: Gwen considers Miles her only friend. On that note, she directly compares Miles to the closest friend she ever had in her life: Peter.
Reason #14: Miles unintentionally gave Gwen a sick signature haircut. LOL
Reason #15: They can have fun together swinging through NYC. I mean, how many couples have the ability to do that together?
Reason #16: Slow burn. Enough said.
Reason #17: Gwen immediately hugs Miles upon seeing him again and loves to give Miles little taps 🤭.
Reason #18: Miles helped Gwen get the bravery to try making friends again and made her believe that anything is possible and gave her a sense of hope. Gwen helped Miles on his journey to become Spider-Man. She inspires him and he looks up to her.
Reason #19 They make each other better people. Who they are now is because of each other.
Reason #20: Gwen WILL make up for her mistakes. Undoubtedly.
Ultimately, you’re entitled to your own opinion about the ship. But I think the Spider-Verse movies are portraying it really well 🤷♀️.

Who's your favorite spider man or spider woman?
I love this question but I can never give a straight answer.
I think it’s either Miles Morales or Gwen Stacy (basic answer, I know 😅 I’m sorry).
I think it’s ultimately because we get to see their stories the most in the spider-verse movies, so they just feel like more fleshed out characters.
I also feel like I’ve grown up with them, so I can relate to them a lot.
And they both have really cool style. If you look at my account, you can tell I really love the Earth-65 aesthetic.
Now, if we’re talking about the live action spideys: they are all so great I can’t choose 😓.

Remember when the first official trailer for ATSV was out (the one with Rio's speech playing over clips from the movie), and when she talks about Miles needing to remember that he's loved, both of those lines are placed over clips of him and Gwen
Not the trailer for the movie foreshadowing Gwen's feelings for him before it was even out ❤️🩹
Based on some director's commentary of what will occur in Beyond, it's likely also foreshadowing how Miles will become stronger from "learning of the love the characters have for him", a statement of which we know Gwen will play a key character
