Update (sorta)
The game isn’t dead but forcing myself to work on it only makes me want to drop it soooo updates will be sparse and sporadic. And this account is being abandoned, all future updates will be on @eyeballmouth from now on.

Hey there, been a while but I’ve learned how to maker gifs so I can finally start showing some of the non art things I’ve been working on. Like this ghost maze test with disappearing and reappaering objects. Or this shop mechanic similar to Etrian Odyessy where you can sell items to unlock new items. I also got someone helping me now so I hope to have more to show in the future

Hey everyone it's been a while. A lot has been going on in my life lately. Like I injuried my leg on a hike, got a job finally but then I sprained my arm so I had to quit that job and now I have a new job but it's full time so it's taking up like all my time currently. I'm sorry I can't update like I used to, I think instead of trying for updating once a month I'll just update whenever I can. Like right now! I have some updated art of our previously shown protagonists AND!

Hiya! Update Time!
This month I’ve got some basic layouts for shop screens, and some wip art for battles and areas in the game. As well as some other stuff that can’t really be shown like options to toggle on and off character voices, adjust message speed, turn battle animations on and off, and a fast travel system.

Hiya! Update time!
So a lot of different stuff to show for April. We got some dungeon map mock ups with little icons indicating events, some I'm sure are easy to recognize. I'm playing with map size, the amount of events available and of course where enemies will spawn. There will be no random encounters in this game, they'll all be on map. A good point of reference for what you can kind of expect is something similar to Pokemon Mystery Dungeon but less precordial generation.
We got some cute icon like images above the maps which are actually rough versions of some attack animations. I'm taking a huge inspiration from LYN's game "Wireland" which is just such a stylish looking game. Both that "Wireland" and "START AGAIN" (another great and stylish game by insertdisc5) have really be making me think about what I could do with images in RPG Maker.
And finally at the top of the post we have a rough look at the Specter Tomb logo and the title screen background. I'm quite proud of everything I did this month and I hope to have some special stuff for May to show!

Hiya! Update Time! I've been focusing on the battle system like I said last time, so here's so mock ups of the battle hud. There's also some enemies and player face changes depending if their alive, dead or poisoned. Behind the scenes I've also been removing or adding some skills for the player and enemies. I want the player to have skills they can use through the game instead of just stronger versions of the same spell/attack.

Hiya! Update time!
School has started up again and I'm in all art classes this time around which means I'm drawing way more than usual (yay!) but that also means most of my time is taken up by assignments and homework (boo!). So I've been working on a lot of non art stuff like building the battle system, finalizing features that will appear a lot throughout the game, fun flavor text, etc.
These aren't really things I can show, so here's some completed character busts instead! From top to bottom we have K and Phil, two of the three main characters, and Chatitha, a very lovely shopkeeper. It's fun coming up with different pose ideas for everyone, really makes me think about their personalities and mannerisms.

Hiya! You can call me EM and I’ve been working on a little I like to call “Spector Tomb”
Spector Tomb is an action adventure turn based RPG maker game where you control a trio of unfortunate travelers whose ship has mysteriously been shot down and crashed landed on a monster infested planet. Explore to find strange treasures, other travelers in need, and ghosts still clinging to the land of the living.
I’ll be trying to update on the 15th of each month, I’m a college student so emphasis on “trying”. Updates won’t be super packed with content cause I’m trying to not overwhelm myself. I’ll always try to at least show something new each month. This is my first time making a game so we shall see how this goes. Right now I’ll just be showing some concept art to start out since most of what I’ve been doing isn’t something you can “see” so enjoy.
