so feyre tried to teach nesta how to use a bow. probably to hunt. which implies that she wasn’t just sitting around doing nothing. funny how this was never mentioned to other people, not even in feyre’s pov. you know what else wasn’t mentioned after acotar? the fact that nesta went after her sister. and that she was willing to marry any guy just so feyre had one less person to feed.
it’s almost like people ignore every good thing that nesta has done because she is not your typical nice girl
Don’t mind me, just thinking about how terrifying it must’ve been for Elain to be the first one thrown into the cauldron and having no clue what it would do to her or if she was about to die. That she tried to kick the cauldron over before she screamed in terror when her foot hit the water, that she was only chosen to go first because she was “the pretty one”
She knew it could in theory turn her fae, but after a lifetime of being coddled and kept safe, imagine hearing only strong willed individuals would survive. Did Elain think she was strong enough to endure it?
What happened to her during the time she was under? Did time work differently for her in there? How did the cauldron gift her the seer ability and any other? Did it speak to her while she was under like how it only “spoke” to Feyre when Elain was in it’s sight?
What did it see when it decided she was so lovely it wanted to gift her with SUCH POWERS (plural !!!)
Why does the cauldron which has no voice, no consciousness besides a base need to return what was stolen PURR in Elain’s presence?
How is it the cauldron valued ELAIN over the power Nesta stole, it REFUSED to hurt her in its hunt to take back its lost power. It REFUSED its base need and the only one Feyre could detect because of ELAIN!!!
Her book is going to be so fucking good and that’s without the romance, she may have one of the best stories in the series, I am so excited for Sarah to explore her character and watch Elain fully accept she is strong willed and can do anything
