Things U Week fever at The University of San Agustin
The University Week of the University of San Agustin is a week of series of activities prior to the academic semester. It is also an opportunity to introduce the Universities environment. Things that should be anticipate of students for the upcoming University week Celebration of The First University in Western Visayas, The University of San Agustin
9 Things that will be in the University of San Agustin, University Week celebration:
1.      The University of San Agustin will be having series of activities pertaining to provide happiness to the students, staffs and visitors. Such as new trends that hits the generation now a days.
2.      There would be free stuffs to be given, like free ice creams (based on the past University week celebration). Last year the University has given a lot of Ice Creams to the students and its’ deliciously amazing.
3.      Definitely a mass will be held to thank God for the blessing that the University have attained.
4.      Alternative classes will be provided to broaden the students’ knowledge in many different sectors pertaining to broaden and learn more of the current environment we have. For example last year I have attended two alternative classes which is the “Be Careful With Your Heart” that talks about the things we should avoid to have a healthier heart and life, next is “The TRAIN Law” that discusses the effect of higher price of commodities to us.
5.      There will be a carnival again (hoping), to have so much fun that brings childhood memories back.
6.      A lot of Kiosks will be in the University that offers a wide variety of foods and drinks. Like Sharetea and lots of Pizza.
7.      Some of the departments will be providing also their own gimmicks and games for the students to warm them up to join in the many different activities with prices to be given to the winners.
8.      A “salo-salo” also will be done that the departments with many different sections will be gathering with their respective departments to eat together. (But I’ll tell you something if you plan to enroll at the University of San Agustine. Do enroll at the college of commerce because the dean provides lechon.)
9.      Lastly if I’m not mistaken there will be a Band and dance completion that will add firepower to the celebration of University Week. ( I enjoy this much last year because the bands and dancers are good).
The university week is not just a bunch of activities that was provided for the delight of students and other people. It is way of the University to unite the students by the values anchored on the succession of each individual. It show also that the Augustinians are aligned with the value like charity, where in giving of simple things that makes a negative day positive and joy to the face of every students.

When making buko pie a double baking method is followed. The pie crust and the pie filling need to be prepared separately before combining the two together. First the pie crust is made by mixing flour, salt and sugar in a bowl. Afterwards, the mixture is made into dough by adding and mixing in ice water and egg yolks. The dough mixture is then refrigerated and thinly rolled out by using a rolling pin. To finish the crust component of the buko pie, the dough is baked and set aside to cool. Next, the pie filling is prepared. The pie filling ingredients listed above are mixed and cooked on low heat. Once the pie crust and the pie filling are finished, they are combined together by pouring the filling into the pie crust. A second crust is used to cover the filling and seal the pie from all sides. It is then baked a second time until the crust is lightly browned. (Preheat oven to 375°F)

Struggles Make Me Strong!
In March 2015 since I decided to take the course Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management. I didn’t expect that I’ll be learning to love this course and will be giving me a lot of memorable experience.
The Aguirre Hall, is the place where I met a lot of different people who became my inspiration to not give up in the struggles of my life. In times of failure they are the people who motivated me to keep on struggling. Yet it’s going to be 4 years of struggle I still don’t give up because I know in my self that Aguirre Hall has a lot of people that will motivate me to reach the peak of my dreams.
