Executive Dysfunction Tip: Stop in the Middle!
So you just finished a chapter of your work in progress. Congrats! Seems like a good place to stop, right?
But wait! Before you go take that much-needed break, do this: Write three sentences of the next chapter. That’s it. Three sentences. Now you’re done.
It will be much, much easier for you to come back to it when you feel like you’re already in the middle. You just got rid of the most difficult part of doing anything: Starting.
This also works for:
crafts! go sew a few stitches of that next seam before taking a break.
art! go shade in a bit of that next section before you stop.
homework! go do five minutes of that next subject first.
pretty much everything!

always have at least one (1) glass or bottle of water within arms reach of every place you might sit down.
i’m always thirsty because getting water is Too Much Work, so i started putting cups of water everywhere. if there’s one that’s constantly empty, put two there. or three. there is no limit to how many cups you can have in one place. except maybe how many cups you own.
this also works for snacks, napkins/hand wipes, tissues, garbage cans, blankets, socks, etc... whatever you would need if you stayed in that location for a few hours, because trust me, it’s gonna happen.

tuesday, dec 15 • coming back from an unintended hiatus
hello !! it’s been around a month since i’ve been actually active here on tumblr, and pretty much exactly a month since i last uploaded a youtube video. this past month was really ?? really hard for me, but in a different way than it had been previously while in quarantine. it’s like life always has some way of giving you new things for you to overcome u know. tl;dr though is that i’ve been learning a lot about myself, and i think attachment theory has been (dare i say) life-changing o:
