The idea of Clara controlling her own death makes me so!!!!! Clara who we've already seen die multiple times (even if they were echoes), who's become more and more reckless over the seasons, who puts her own life at risk expecting things to work like they always do-
And when it doesn't, when the plan backfires and she can't cheat death, the girl takes control of the narrative. This death is her choice, you will not feel guilty, you will not become a worse version of yourself, you will heal yourself. Of course Clara has to step out there to face the raven, there is no alternative for her.
