My favorite football memory was last year's Clemson game. It was cold
and was the last time I would get to see Carolina/Clemson during my
tenure at USC. We pulled out a W and I was able to talk some trash to
a few Clemson fans who were staying at my house. It also gave the
Gamecocks a lot of bragging rights until this season's game.

My favorite memory would be when we came into the Hawaii bowl three years ago on Christmas Eve as the underdogs and won it. It was our first bowl game in twenty years and Nevada was the heavy favorite. We started the game with three straight scoring drives and never looked back. I believe the final score was 45-17. Best early Christmas present SMU fans could have received. The only close second would be beating TCU last year at TCU when they were the defending Rosebowl champs.

My favorite game in my entire college career had to have been when TCU played in the Rose Bowl in 2011. The TCU Horned Frogs took on the Wisconsin Badgers in a game no one thought we could win. I couldn't believe we won! The game was so intense!! It was my favorite New Years Day EVER.

My favorite Tennessee moment has to be the 2009 Halloween night game versus South Carolina. UT warmed up in our classic home Orange and White uniforms, then burst out of the tunnel and through the T in black shirts. The decision for the uniform change didn’t happen until Wednesday or Thursday, even though there was chatter for months beforehand. Anyway, the Vols responded quite well, opening the game with 3 touchdowns to make the result never within reach. The Vols’ overwhelming success created the best atmosphere I’ve ever seen, and the partying that followed, costumes and all, made it unbeatable.

As for my favorite football memory, it would have to be the Mizzou-Kansas game in 2007. Kansas is our arch rival, so it's always a big deal whenever we play them, but this time it was especially huge because we were ranked #3 in the country and Kansas was ranked #2. The game was held at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City and ESPN's College Gameday was in attendance. My friends and I got to the parking lot early to tailgate and I remember it being so cold since it was late November, Once we got into the stadium, I was in awe of how loud the crowd was. There was a divide along the the middle of the sold-out stadium where one side was all dressed in blue and red and the other were clad in black and gold. The game itself was great. Mizzou got out to a 21-0 lead, but the Jayhawks came back to make it 34-28 late in the fourth quarter. KU had the ball on the 11 yard line, but Mizzou sacked their quarterback, Todd Reesing in the endzone to end the game. As a result Mizzou was ranked #1 in the country until the following week when we lost to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship.

I'd say that my favorite football memory had to be during the 2005 LSU v. Auburn game in Baton Rouge. I was in the student section in biting my nails (figuratively) during overtime; LSU had the lead but Auburn had the ball. Thunderous roars that occurred while Auburn kicked the ball fell into the quietest silence I had ever heard (which is pretty impressive considering I was surrounded by well more than 90,000 people) as the ball flew toward the uprights. Then the moment of elation came from the reverberating sound of pigskin bouncing off of the left upright - the crowd jumped and roared and screamed into pure jubilation. It was insane in the student section that night!

UK football, is the best football. People start tailgating in the early hours of the morning, and go til long after the game is over. The experience is about so much more than the game. The UK experience is really about the tailgating. Most people enjoy some cornhole, beers, and grill out. Dressing up is a big part of the experience! If you're from KY and go to a UK game, you're going to see a ton of people you have known your whole life, so looking your best is a must!

My favorite game definitely had to be the annual pink out game. Every year my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha gets together with the team and JMU students and we organize a pink out to raise money for breast cancer awareness. It's not only a great day for football but a great day to see all of the support from the JMU Dukes!

2009 #4 Virginia Tech @ #19 Georgia Tech. It was a huge ESPN prime time match up that would basically determine who would go to the ACC Championship game. GT and VT had created a little rivalry over the years prior by being the two best teams in the division, so everyone wanted to win and win bad. Georgia Tech ended up playing one of its best games of the year against Virginia Tech and beat them 28-23. We dashed VT's hopes of a national championship bid, and Georgia Tech ultimately ends up winning the ACC in 2009. When the game was finished, we rushed the field, broke down the field goal posts, and carried them all the way to the President's house where it is a tradition to present the posts to the President after a big win. It being Georgia Tech, someone busted out a welder and started breaking the field goal posts into little pieces for everyone to take home. I lost my voice for almost a week after that game and my friends and I still talk about it as one of the top 3 games we have ever been to.
