so back in january i was super lonely for my birthday because i was chasing after people who didn't really give a fuck about me like i was begging for scraps of attention and i wanted to remedy that so i planned a super belated birthday dinner for myself as an excuse to get together with a few of my favourite local people who i don't get to see very often and it took a while to get all of our schedules to align but planning it far enough in advance worked out great because i got to bring this really great group of people together and i'm so happy right now i can't sleep like i'm high on joy and love

i was so nervous cause all they had in common was anime and that they knew me and i was sort of afraid that i was forcing something but they all hit it off so well like i had so much fun laughing and talking about our common interests together we had all you can ear sushi and we had such a good time

i love my friends so much

i've healed so much this year

and i owe so much of that to my friends i am so grateful to have them in my life and that i get to see them and laugh with them

i seriously didn't think i'd get to feel this happy after everything i lost and went through the last couple of years

it feels like you'll never be okay

but if you make an effort to sorround yourself with people that care about you

i promise it will be
